Nice footage for sure. Thanks to Brook and the producers for putting it up. Definitely excited to see more of Brook on the GT bikes. I think him and the new team + GT can be something really special like the Syndicate or how Gravity Republic was. Frankly, the Trek bikes and brand are not terribly exciting. Good stuff for sure, but if my Nomad turned into Slash right now, I'd be selling it. A GT Sanction...well...welcome home!

You'd be making a mistake. The Slash, Sanction and Nomad are all kick ass mini-DH machines ready for anything you can throw at them, including a climb.

I am presenting an opinion--a point of view. That's how people have conversations. If everyone thought the same way, there wouldn't be much to talk about. That said, I personally don't find the Trek aesthetic very appealing. When I look at my Nomad out in the garage, I can't believe it's mine. I could imagine the same for the GT, but not so much for the Trek. That is my opinion.

But who cares, right? Well, I think Brook and that whole team are very dynamic and even a bit wild. I think the GT bikes really suit their style and I also believe that will create something special for that team and for us. I kind of think of these guys like a heavy metal band or something. Can you imagine if Slayer or Megadeth came out playing Rickenbakers? It wouldn't be right. I think the Trek was like that for Brook. That's just my point of view.

The 2016 model does look darker. My 2015 Slash 9.9 it is more of a matte finish like what he is riding. the fork looks like a 36 too.

Session seem to be good at popping jumps, flicking around etc, whereas the GT Fury seems to be more of a go fast, straight and stable bike. I am really keen to see how the Bulldog does on the Fury this year.
