Sometimes, not very often, but sometimes the sun pops its head out from behind the clouds and England actually looks quite nice. So the lads from rideMTB coaching and I took advantage of this. Chain Reaction Cycles junior rider, Elliot Heap and number one ranked senior in the country, Conor Martin are two of the best lads you'll ever meet and have some serious skill on a bike as well, but being from Wigan they don't know what a proper hill looks like. Luckily some of the best views in the Peak District are right on my doorstep, so I took them on a mini tour and got some great footage along the way.

Need to sort out the interference from the multirotor though
Or maybe I'm wrong - obviously one of the most successful DH racers of all time could reach such levels by training on smooth, trail centre trails. Maybe he might have won Worlds sooner if he did it on a road bike, like you can.
At no point have I said the trails are going to be crap to ride but visually they look smooth and boring. I bet they are a blast to ride and the races will be fun. It still looks super smooth and lacks the technical aspect of mountain biking that I enjoy and like to watch on film though.
Point taken on the fact that it has "hidden" rocks on it which no doubt makes it hard but it doesn't change the fact that it looks smooth and looks like it could be easily tackled on a lesser bike.
