This has been my bicycle playground for the last 4 years, it was not until recently when I teamed up with another friend to start shooting movies that the idea popped up to create a video showing the trails we ride all so often.

Seeing as we live in the southern part of Sweden we aren't blessed with epic mountain ridges, therefore, we have got to work with what we have got. But seeing as these surroundings are only 5 minutes away from my door I certainly feel blessed.

Although people had warned me about the lack of mountains before we moved, I'm really happy with how much fun riding there is in the Halmstad / Bostad / Astop / Vaxtorp / Hässleholm circle (I don't usually travel further - still haven't made it up to Gothenburg..argh). The loam at home was good fun, but I enjoy the rocks and roots here even more!

We heathens from North do not dare to cross Hallandsåsen... but we shall welcome you gladly. We may have housing shortage but I am fighting with it right now.

U need to make your way up to Dalarna and Jämtland Wink Tho, I got to admit that the riding in Gothenburg is pretty good. A lot of technical stuff and Änggårdsbergen do have enough altitude difference for it to be fun. Another good thing is that you can get a place pretty central and still live really close to the trails.

I wanted to go to Dalarna and Jämtland many times, yet I am always drawn by Norway instead

I guess Norway is a decent choice to Wink

Once the weather clears and I'm actually home (I'm buggering off to Portugal over Christmas for some riding there) I'll post to see if anybody is up for a ride. Cheers guys!

I would not wait for the weather to clear... It's the West Coast man! The worst weather in entire Sweden and this year was the worst sht I have ever experienced in my entire life, and I come from region in Poland with one of highest rain fall rate. Get yer wee trousers into mud yer wee bugger!

As long as I'm not destroying somebody's trails it's fine with me. I was back in NL last weekend and I saw hubs disappearing into a a substance that looked more like what's left over in a coffee filter Razz

If people are interested in doing a ride after the Christmas break I'd be happy to drive up north!

Destroying trails? haha no worry bro, there's place for everybody aaand... we have a good "This is Strava!!!" community in here. A couple of S-turns disappeared from trails over the last few years.

Thanks a lot for the great response! We just submitted this as a fun thing, didn't really expect to end up on the front page. We got some more videos planned so stay tuned!

Sweet!

Always fun to ride a bike. All year round biking isn´t that bad even if its on the plains. Nice video. Good job.
