Bike Check: UCI 4X World Championships Leogang, Austria

The battle around the new rainbow jerseys in the 4Cross discipline starts tonight with the qualifying round in Leogang, Austria beside the UCI MTB Downhill World cup.
Probably everybody remembers the spectacular finals of the last years championships were the women provided even the more intense action as the men.

As a prestarter we present you a selection of the competitors racing machines.

The fast french man Quentin Derbier showed his strength already at the 2nd 4X Pro Tour race in Winterberg, Germany where he won the race starting with the last qualifying place. He also demonstrate his skills last weekend at the 3rd round of the 4X Pro Tour in Fort William by winning the qualification which finally ended in a 2nd place.

Matija Stupar (Slovenia) will fly with a GT La Bomba over the austrian jumps.

One of germanys fastest guns, Benedikt Last, rides also a Nicolai hardtail but in a different color.

The strongest british rider, Scott 'Boom Boom' Beaumont, trusts on the Yeti hardtail.

Tomas Slavik will give his best on a unique Ghost hardtail bike.

The young swiss Jerome Butti rides the BMC replica bike of Roger Rinderknechts winning 4X hardtail bike.

Benjamin Kistner is the only rider in the mens field riding on a pivot cycle.

Marco Muffs was the only men flying over the full wooden bridge with an older GT hardtail.
