What order do they show the riders in? It makes no sense. Greenland, Wallace, and Hannah, all qualified slower than Marin who was shown at the start of the broadcast as "earlier". It's misleading and confusing if you actually follow the qualifying, and can create spoilers since they've already shown the hot seat several times. They should show the top N qualified riders for that race, end of story. If they want to show other riders they should at least do it in the order they qualified.
Great example, just saw Fearon's run and knew he must crash because he was up the whole way yet qualified ahead of Marin who was shown in the hot seat. Garbage. This is not "live" coverage.
@tmcp1127: uhm.. the race is shown live, so it's exactly in the starting order. there's not really any other way. however the starting order is not the same as quali, because of the protected riders.
The "awaiting replay" banner after women's final is over is confusing. Would be better if that was replaced with "awaiting men's final"! Only after both have finished put the replay announcement on.
The Mens Elite is running in order--the number boards are done on current UCI downhill rankings, while the start order is the inverse of qualifying time.
Why is the DH coverage so crappy this year. Hardly any coverage of actual racing and this month Red Bull substituted flipping XC for the DH. Bush league.
however the starting order is not the same as quali, because of the protected riders.
