2017 FLY Racing MTB Collection.

From its backyard in the Boise Foothills to the craggy peaks of Whistler and beyond, FLY Racing MTB has reinvented the standard of quality with its most technologically advanced gear to date.

Featuring all-new jerseys, shorts, and protective gear designed for amateur and professional riders alike, FLY designers focused on the details so you don’t have to.

Gear up, and head out, the mountains are calling!

2017 FLY MTB Radium Downhill Racewear

New to the 2017 FLY MTB line is Radium Racewear, durable enough for downhill yet lightweight enough for enduro due to its advanced high-stretch Lite Hydrogen material. Laser-cut perforations in critical hot spots will keep you cool, and a comfortable soft internal liner allows you to focus on your landing instead of your gear.

Some good looking gear here. How do they not have a pair of gloves called "swatters"?

I am really digging Fly apparel these days. I bought some of the new helmets a couple of weeks ago and they rock

Front shifter in the glove picture. What is this, 2015?

Best quality gear I ever used. My team used the same jerseys, shorts and gloves for 3 DH seasons, and it still looks good. We've used No Fear and Fox,and both don't come even close in terms of quality.

 Looks Fly.

Fly puts out some of the best kit availble every year...but is it just me or does all of this years stuff (with the exception of the Ripa Jersey) look like more Fox apparel (which is generally some of the more generic/meh stuff available)? I don't really like any of this.

I just bought a set of the Barricade Lite kneepads to replace my stinky G-Forms. I really like the way they look and the way they fit better. I have always been a Troy Lee guy, but the Fly products have been an exceptional value and most of it looks pretty nice too.

Picking up a set of the prizams! Had the chance to see the Boise hq and all that goes into the brand a few weeks back. Really cool group of guys dedicated to the mtb catagory

The Freestone is the same helmet as the Seven M2. Same company?
  • 3 0
Probably not. Most likely the both use the same open mold helmet from one of the Taiwanese or Chinese helmet factories.
  • 1 0
That's what I figure so now I'm wondering if the mold is open to all.
  • 3 0
I believe it is...that's why they call them "open molds". They're just open to all companies who need a helmet model. Makes it a lot cheaper since you don't have to design a new helmet, pay for molds and tooling, and then the copyrights/trademarks for your own design. At least from what I understand/have heard...

Probably, as I own an older Fly full face lid and it's the same as an ISX from the same year

Like the helmets. Is MIPS (apart from color scheme) the only difference between the Rival and the Ultra?
