This is by far the best series on pb I've ever seen.

Seriously awesome. I've never been that commited to a specific line, some of those boulders and stumps are rediculous and I would tend to just shift the trail direction a few feet to clear a bad spot. A big thank you to all these guys and anyone else putting that kind of work into trails.

Having helped build trails and having made some trails of my own with my friends I have a little bit of an idea of what it takes. The kind of commitment and positive teamwork that these guys put into this project is really amazing. It is really hard to find people that are that dedicated and willing to put forth all of their efforts into such a good thing for the community.

The best part is that almost all of them are from one city in Washington, and that means A LOT for the quality of the trails we have around us on a daily basis.

might as well name that fine city!

 Bellingham, WA

@marseer How is the riding at Galbriaith? I've never been up riding there.

Bellingham, City of Subdued Excitement. So fun to see familiar faces in this vid; and knowing I've ridden their trails locally makes me even more stoked to ride trail that this crew put together.`

And @Biocoug1; The trails on Galbraith are fabulous... and only the beginning. So many new trails in new zones going in all the time is seems. How did I luck into such a place when I moved here, sight unseen, 25 years ago? Never lived anywhere longer than 4 years before moving here. May stick around a little while longer too.

 Somebody please answer!
After all this work, and amazing ideas, and planning. It is a trail for free, open to the public, or how can they manage to keep it in a good condition?

Retallack is a privately owned ski/mountain bike area so my guess is the funding comes from lift passes and parking the way all these places run.
  • + 1
Sorry, not lift accessed, just looked on their site, catski only, $700 and up per day:

More like $300-$500 per day in the summer (the price depends on whether or not you want a heli ride in there). Canadian dollars too, so it's going to be a bargain this year
