For Kirt Voreis, riding bikes has always been about having fun. From riding recumbents to sending the Black Sage FEST jumps on a 29er, he’s never been one to limit himself to one type of bike. Armed with amazing bike handling skills and a colorful personality, Kirt has continually shown it’s more about how you ride rather than what you ride.
seriously the fact that he keeps himself relevant with the youth is a huge accomplishment. His genuine excitement to do fun stuff on a bike is why we all ride, we want to go out and have fun. What a cool guy to be an ambassador for mountain biking
Just when I think I don’t wanna get outta bed today I remember that Kirt Voorhees is alive and suddenly the world seems a bit brighter. Thank you from the bottom of my heart dude.
Time for another edition of Recline.
Must of watched that 15 times and made sure all my friends saw it too. Lauphs from start to finish plus I want to actually go ride one, mission a accomplished...kook.
Refreshing. If I could ride with Kirt for an hour, I'd be stoked. Keep on keeping on. The new Rip 9 is real, keep Niner alive. I really like my camo Rip. Thanks for making great videos and keeping the stoke lit.
Rode with him for most of a week when I did Summer Gravity Camp at Whistler a while ago. Not only is he an insanely good rider and coach but that friendly, fun and honest guy you see in his videos is the genuine real deal. Someone in our group showed us an old NWD stunt (ladder bridge to gap to rock ride) and Kirt says "cool, want me to hit it?" Quickly scopes it out, clips in and nails it first try. Spends the next 30 minutes figuring out how to climb out of the gully with his bike!
Anyone who has never ridden a Bike E (the recumbent) I am just dropping by to say that those Bike E wheelies are the most impressive thing in this video.
Funny How you just do not know why Kirt is such an iconic figure, but skateboarding has a way of making it that way? Not just a way too express your self, but a lifestyle, but MTB allows you travel anywhere & skateboarding/surfing lets you see the flow, So go ride until you find the flow!
I'm glad I watched this, made me grin to see all the "old school" madness (especially when he did the daffy while riding his bike ~ very very old school freestyle skate tricks) ~ I'm 56yrs old and this made me want to go do stupid stuff again just for the sheer joy of that "holy shit I did it" moment.
Thanks a lot for being such an awesome dude Kurt, I remember first time I saw a segment of you just f***n pinning it downhill! Now getting to know you better I can relate to so much on myself and get inspired... This video addressed a whole lot of things I've personally been crashing about psychologically; aging, creativity, personal loss, motivation, tricks and athletic discipline and drive. Thank you so much for this, definitely a massive inspiration to keep on going forward! Cheers
Funny How you just do not know why Kirt was such a iconic figure, but Skateboarding has a way of making it that way!
But without direction, you just do not go anywhere, so just get up and go!
Content is top notch and cheers to life!!
Funny, I wouldn’t have called you dude 10 years ago. Lol!
Thank you Sir

In my heart you will always be the k00k king - don't change baby!
BTW - Nice cameo of DaHÄNGER and nod to @Juergen Beneke
