Press Release: G-Form

Soil Sessions is an all-new apparel line that will directly give back to select trail building organizations across the country.

G-Form is pleased to announce an all-new apparel line called Soil Sessions - where proceeds from items sold will directly go back to select trails throughout California, Washington, and Utah.

G-Form is typically known for its range of technical protective wear, however, with Soil Sessions, the brand has created an exclusive line of apparel that speaks to all levels of mountain bike riders. The brand is excited to be launching this partnership with the Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship (CA), Evergreen MTB Alliance (WA) and Park City Mountain Trails (UT). For each apparel item sold, proceeds will directly go back to trails in the area of the organization.

“In the last 12 months, we have seen a record number of riders out on the trails. Supporting organizations who develop and maintain mountain bike trails for their communities is vital to the health and growth of the sport,” says Alex Sardella, Bike Marketing Manager. “We are excited to launch Soil Sessions with organizations that have large scale impacts on mountain biking, and they are also places we love to ride.”

As part of the partnership, G-Form will have a focus on supporting the organizations in other areas such as events, sponsorships, and dig days.

“Industry support for organizations like Evergreen, Sierra Trails, and Park City Trails is incredibly important and between the 3 groups, I know we all make a lot happen in our areas. There’s nothing more important than brands supporting and endorsing the good work that the community organizations are doing. We are excited to be part of Soil Sessions and the new program from G-Form”- Yvonne Kraus, Executive Director, Evergreen MTB Alliance.

The Soil Sessions apparel line will kick off with t-shirts, hats, and socks. Apparel will be released in limited batches and change throughout the year. G-Form is committed to making semi-annual contributions to the Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship, Evergreen MTB Alliance, and Park City Mountain Trails.

 I think this is great!

I would like to say one thing though, these trail organizations do a lot but all have great traction and great funding. I run a trail company that travels globally and I think it would go a lot further to focus on some of the smaller organizations nationally… a lot of smaller organizations in less wealthy areas are in need of these funds to gain grassroots traction. I think bigger brand involvement would go a lot further long term from a marketing and community building standpoint.

I frequently ride all these organization’s trails and they have done INCREDIBLE work, but their support from their respected regions allows on staff grant writers, paid builders, and event organizers. This is deserved and should be any organizations goal ( I don’t think they are greedy or over funded) but I would love to see support for those doing it for free!

If g form has any questions on other non profits I work with around the country, I’d love to chat!
