 | 2016 and 2017 are two years that will be added to the legendary logbook of ‘Team GT’.
GT Factory Racing 1.0 represented what we all like most; racing at the highest level in the most beautiful locations around the globe with big smiles on our faces. The team built a relationship that will last a lifetime. And there are too many good stories to wrap up in a few words!
I truly wish Sambo, Anneke, Brook, Jackson, and Ely a hell of a ride in their next adventures. Thank you all for being part of our crew and for all of the good times. You guys know where to find the good beer and you know there will always be a cold one waiting for you!
Cheers, Mark and the entire crew at GT Bicycles.—Mark Maurissen, GT Factory Racing Team Manager |
The GT Factory Racing legacy is set to continue in 2018...

Big question whenever I think of GT now, how is Andrew Cho doing? I just looked him up and saw he's even been running races/events so that's pretty amazing. Does that mean that he can actually live his life without special adaptations to home and vehicle? That'd be the best thing I never dared to hope for even though Andrew seemed determined to not settle for less
going back to Mondraker to replace Hart
that would make sense with justin leaving and all
Honestly, the quality control for both brands is absolutely dismal.

It would be probably the best thing to happen to the sport.
4 generations family owned-5 people shop with the only scope of winning races.
I think Brook has had an unlucky year, but Sam Dale needs to lose a few pounds and start focussing. Really frustrating that someone with that natural talent is wasting it, I doubt anyone will take him next year. He has little marketability, and doesn’t get results.
and the only one in 2-3 years..(whatever is the post-athertons)
@applepie:'s suggestion makes some sense but when was the last time GT pulled in a regular top 10, let alone podium rider?
