Cool idea to have an authentic mechanic introducing the tech. Thumbs up for GT. Matteo used to work in finale and fixed my wifes brake on the trail when we have been shuttling back in 2011. He came to us with his car and bleed it in no time. Very skilled & gentle person. I followed his career since then and hope his team and the racers take good care of him!
Pretty sexy looking bike. I wish more bikes came with the flip chips to switch your geometry. Had it on my old Treks and was big fan. and bring back the Talas while you're at it!
I'm surprised they didn't increase reach a bit more. As a former 2020 Sensor owner, I would think you would want to size up if you are between sizes and have the inseam length to do so. At 5'9" I just couldn't get the fit right on a Medium.
I'm 5'9 and actually like the reach on my medium Force 27.5. I do have a 50mm stem on, but that still brings the reach to around 450, which is pretty par for the course for mediums these days.
@bonkmasterflex: You can't look at reach without considering seat tube angles though. It looks like the seat tube angle changes by 2 or 2.5 degrees while the reach only increases by 10 to 15mm, depending on where I find geo numbers. I find for each degree change in seat tube angle that I want at least 10mm of reach. I would expect this bike to feel a bit shorter out of the box than your 27.5.
I like the more upright position that a steep sea tube angle puts you at, so I'm not too worried.
That being said, as sick as this bike looks, I think it's actually too much bike for my needs!
