My buddy Sandro Szukat moved to Mallorca in his van this summer and told me how much potential this island has. So I just trusted him and went on a try. Honestly, it was probably the worst timing of the year that we chose to go filming. It was ridiculously hot, dry and busy. But still, driving by those rad locations and trails we had good fun. And traveling around the island in his van, we always stopped when we found something interesting.—Amir Kabbani
I run my Force with RockShox and SRAM components all over. Those badass new Acros Carbon wheels, Maxxis tires, and Ergon for grips and saddle. The bike just feels amazing. It's super light but stiff as hell. I usually always like to throw a few volume spacers in fork and shock so I can set it up super supple in the beginning and more progressive towards the end. The bike, in general, is my fav of today's development of bikes. It weighs less than 13 kgs and I can do anything on it. Too good. And that's kinda wanted I wanted to show in this edit.—Amir Kabbani
I am putting ideas together another new big film project for next year where I'm surely gonna give the Force another go. But it's too fresh to say more. It's going to be a special one, that's what I can say!—Amir Kabbani
I moved to Mallorca this year - In fact in one of the villages featured in this edit, and I'm screwed if I know anywhere as smooth as those jump lines. I know I should talk to the locals, but my Spanish is so bad. So if anyone knows where these are, please let me know.
Hi,
I am in same boat, been doing trails in Mallorca for 2 years and it is rocky as hell, dream of a smoother trail. I went back to UK just to get some decent trails but its like to cold so im coming back to Mallorca. I would love it if there was a decent bike park in mallorca as I want to progress my dirt jumping as I am now a pro enduro because im forced to be. I use my Trek Ticket S in the city and my Trek Remedy RSL for the mountains. Palma council should invest in a proper bike park it would be a dream with the weather combined.
@oldmanfalling: Nobody should post trails on trailforks or strava or any other map appart from bikepark/very well known trails. Especially in Mallorca because of mass tourism. Just biking around you'll find your way... or will make your own trails then you'll understand my point if once tourists show up and mess around with your work There is a potential for bike parks in Mallorca or for the tourism offices to develop fun mtb routes though.
No offence but chain guide is just a company out to make money from the trails they know from tourists. Build a community and get a good bike park everyone with profit not just money making tour guides.
I agree I got excited when I saw the decent dirt jumps and only to be disappointed when it is ibiza. Keep it true when making these movies because I was so excited someone had the balls to make a decent zone for jumping then completely let down. Depressed again......
No offence, but anyone coming here on holiday has very little chance of finding any decent trails without paying for a guide
Why do you say you are riding in Mallorca if nearly all of the trails are in Ibiza????
