After treacherous weather all week in Snowshoe, the sun came out for finals and brought some great racing with it! Wyn takes to the riders to get those post-race interviews you've been waiting for.
Awesome stuff Wyn! And great to see you speaking out against the possible changes for next year (I.e. cutting down the rider numbers). Discovery and Chris Ball - listen to the riders!!!
Yeah seriously what are they thinking. Just capture on film what's going on for us, don't ruin the format. They are making us all the villains, if we weren't all watching it, they might not bother buying the rights and butchering the events! Shame on us for loving it. But really , Shot Wyn! G.C.T.V.
Changing the sport to better suit being televised is the worst possible thing that could happen. As Dkendy says, their job should be to document what is happening and nothing more. The riders job isn't to just make a product Discovery can monetise. I get the impression everyone involved in the decision making has 0 love for the sport and loads of love for cash. Pricks.... I'd prefer DH wasn't televised at all, than ruined in order to make it suit being televised.
Fantastic stuff as always, and even better with the genuine stoke and happy for each other vibes bouncing off Kerr and Masters. What a sport! Snowshoe looks like an incredible blast, American positive hype and hospitality at its very best! The crowd noise is something else from top to bottom. From what looks like just wandering around with a camera starting some chats, Wyn TV is now long well established and a major part of the race weekend! Hilarious and wholesome stuff, and that's a tricky balance.
Roll on Mont St Anne and the 2023 dates! Cheers Wyn, GT & the mtb race community
Watching that just put the last 4 days in perspective. What an awesome time. The whole vibe was so awesome. Some dude just randomly handed me 3 free day passes when I told him it was my first time ever at Snowshoe and said “come ride this year man!!”. With all the BS is the world this place was true red white and blue this week.
Stellar week of racing in the USA. Congrats Wyn for riding the burning saddle and your #21st place.

The Twenty-first Amendment to the United States Constitution repealed the Eighteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution, which had mandated nationwide prohibition on alcohol.
Definitely one of the best WynTV episodes in quite awhile. Wyn seemed extra buzzed in this one - from both his result and he was probably at couple of beers in before they even started filming.
"Not here for f*ck spiders" - classic Aussie/NZ phrase! LOL!
I love Wyn Masters, such a good bloke, reminds me of the old school days of Peaty, Warner, Rennie, Kovaric etc, he'd fit right in with them. And yeah, Discovery need to change nothing imo, but they will so it's a nervy time.
Top one Wyn
Such an infectious enthusiasm for our great sport
And showing off the great vibe from the wonderful people at Snowshoe!
Ace
And congrats on 21st!
Cheers
Wyn's Chelada hatred haha, it's next to the chili powder beer for a reason... has clam juice with the tomato btw. A few shades too light in culture hahaha
