Hello, selling my Genius 900 tuned. Please read this while post for info. This is a solid bike with only a couple issues. 1) the carbon seat stays on the 2018 Genius have bushing and they sometimes wear the carbon rather than the bushing. This bike has some play in the rear drive side pivot. I recommend replacing it with a 2019 or newer seat stay with bearings. Maybe even an aluminum one to save money. 2) the shock damper may need a tune up. The twin lock does not fully lock out. Not sure why, it worked when I put the bike in storage. 3) there is some play in the shock mount. I think that may just be bushings. Now that that is out of the way, other details include: integrates bars and stem, kashima coated fork and shock, 200mm front disc, new xc tires, new sram gx derailleur and single click shifter, new chain, new cassette, new grips. Other than what is listed above the bike works great. It just helped propel our team to a 2nd place finish at the 24 hour race in Spokane. Light and fast, and needs a little love. Scalpel 1 hi-mod carbon frame with carbon xlr fefty fork. Shimano XT 10 speed 1x setup. New parts with only a few rides on them: discs, fork, bottom bracket, new shock, full sprint lock-out, Great bike. Does have some scratches on the frame but it is a mountain bike. Looking to sell my 150mm Fox Transfer Factory Dropper (Kashima coated) off of my 2018 Scott Genius Tuned. Works well and no damage to the coating at all.
