I’ve been told by a few mechanics that it’s not an issue and rideable, buuuuut it was under warranty still so the trigger was pulled on a new frame. $600 with a colour matched paint job was the quote from Robert’s in Vancouver for a repair job - NOTE this repair WAS NOT completed. Selling my beloved Santa Cruz Megatower. This is the S build on the Santa Cruz website, but There have been quite a few upgrades to it. It also comes with an extra set of bearings for when the ones in the frame start to wear down. The bike was wrapped by Ride Wrap the moment it was out of the box, so no damage to the frame. Recently swapped in a brand new rear rim and brand new rear hub. Shock and fork serviced in August, along with fresh brake pads and a general top down work over from a shop in town. I have done it all with this bike, from short rides in Squamish to epic adventures. It does it all with ease. UPGRADED PARTS: - Fox 36 Factory Kashima Grip 2 170mm - Fox Float X2 Factory Series Kashima - Raceface Next Carbon handlebar, 35mm rise - Raceface Turbine Stem, 40mm length - OneUp EDC top cap for the EDC tool. No dings or dents, but the usual scratches. Standard black colour. Blew up the hub and it was cheaper to just buy a new complete wheel. Hoping someone else can make use of it! Can include spokes for a 12 pack
