Production Privee Sponsors The Brigade Team for 2021 with New Downhill Bike
What's worse though? This tank of a bike, that a weekend warrior could use for life. Or, a carbon bike every 3 years like the rest of the industry pushes.

Graham Agassiz Parts Ways with Evil
@conoat: I don't have any experience with Evil bikes or how they ride, but for my DH rig I have two shocks, one RockShox Vivid and one Cane Creek DB. The Vivid usually feels a little slow or a little fast (rebound)with very little difference in clicker settings. Maybe it's the shock, not the kinematics.

Field Test: 10 Trail and Enduro Bikes Hucked To Flat at 1,000 FPS
Upside down forks are a lot less sticky than right side up forks though, so it's not just "all telescopic forks." Keeping the seals fresh and not leaky on those can be a royal pain in the ass though.

Field Test: Searching Out the Best Values in the Trail Bike Category
@hi-dr-nick: No bike these days has " Massive Pedal Bob" unless you're pedalling a downhill bike. If you have massive pedal bob on a sub 150mm travel bike your suspension settings are way off.

Video: Stumpjumper vs Trance X vs Mojo vs P-Train vs Blackthorn - Field Test Round Table
I test rode the Stumpjumper Comp alloy, and the Trance X 2, they both ride pretty nice. My only complaint was they both feel pretty Chunky, and both of them had kind of lackluster brakes. The Stumpy felt more enduro-ish, and the Trance felt more 'springy' in the rear, so more tuned for climbing and easier flow trails. Luckily I found a 'low milage' Trance 1 in 27.5, here on the Pinkbike Buy/sell and couldn't be happier.

I really like the look on Dangerholm's bike, but knowing it had the paint and possibly some Carbon resin scraped off, would worry me.
