Out of hundreds of entries, five months of competition we have a winner. The new owner of a nice big wad of cash is...
FABIO WIBMER What does it mean to you to have won this contest? Since I heard of the contest last year I was fascinated by the whole idea and the concept. I knew I would need a good and creative video to be able to compete with all the other guys. I put so much effort into this video and to see that it paid off is just amazing! Still can't believe it! Tell us about the process and concept of this edit, it seemed like a lot of planning was involved, how did you execute everything? When I was younger I always dreamed of riding across rooftops, jumping over cars and things like that. I had some places in my neighborhood which fascinated me all my life. For this contest, my goal was to make a video which stood out from others and is original. So somehow I tried to realize some of my childhood dreams which turned out to be pretty challenging. I need to admit that I came up with the idea of the police escape quite spontaneously. I wanted to have a good story which is a little bit funny as well.
I put months of work into realizing my dream line. From building things and preparing the police car, organizing everything and training. In the end, it took me a few days and many fails to get the line filmed in one shot. I'm still overwhelmed with emotion when I think of the feeling I had after I nailed the line. It was like a dream come true! What will you do with your winnings? Tough question. I definitely want to invest in camera equipment for future projects and videos. I'm sure I will throw a little party as well, ha ha. What's in store for Fabio Wibmer in 2016? I have some cool video ideas in my head which would be awesome to realize. Also, I will be traveling around the world with the Drop and Roll guys to make trials shows. If you want to keep yourself updated check out my facebook, Instagram and youtube. Would you like to thank anyone? I really want to thank all of the people who were involved in this project and to everyone who voted for me! Thanks a ton!
Especially to my mom, dad, and brother for always supporting me.
How the Grand Prize Winner was selected:
The Grand Prize Winner will be determined by a 16 seed bracket-style vote. The five Monthly Prize Winners and the five User Voted Monthly Winner are automatically entered into the user voting bracket. Each Displayed Submission may only be entered into the bracket once, therefore in the event that a Displayed Submission wins both the Monthly Prize and the User Voted Monthly Prize, that Displayed Submission will only be entered into the bracket as one entry. On or about December 22, 2015, the Judging Panel, using the Judging Criteria, will select the highest remaining Displayed Submissions that did not win a User Voted Monthly Prize or a Monthly Prize for entry into the Grand Prize bracket vote until there are 16 Displayed Submission finalists.
The Judging Panel will then rank the 16 Displayed Submission finalists using the Judging Criteria. Each round of voting will be open for four days or as determined by the Administrator in its sole discretion. Each Displayed Submission with the highest number of votes in each match-up per round will move on to the next match-up in the next round until the Grand Prize Winner is selected.

MENTIONS: @gopro /
@wibmerfabio
@GoPro it would be cool to see the percentages for the final, like you did with other rounds. Cheers.
Also I really think #gopro should hook you up with one at least of all the products they have just cause you prove you can make very good material with them and it's a big publicity for them to show videos like that filmed on their equips.
cheers from Argentina, and again, to me you should have been the winner
