Fox shim stackIf you have Fox Vanilla R, Van R or DHX 3.0 shock you can manage your pro-pedal force internally. By removing one or both shims marked with green you can reduce platform or completely remove it by taking out red marked shims and a ring. After this simple process, you can do while servicing your shock, it will be more response for small bumps and generally work nicer.

Manitou Metel RP 08 Tuning
...So I decided to use only 3 shims. To have a Revox ISX compression i should add one more but first I'll check that setting. Also I want to use low air pressure - about 80 psi so I have to play with IFP depth to make the shock progressive. By the way I shorten the bottom out bumper.

...Shim stack with eight 25x0.1 and one 23x0.1 compression shims. That's way too much! Platform was horrible strong. Rebound side is all right so i left it alone.

...Se here is my home made shrader valve. That's a usual tube valve, tapped and screwed with cold welding glue. Looks like straight from factory :D
