Here's That £300 3D-Printed Titanium Stem You Wanted
@mikelevy: Nice but agree with some of the comments. If you are going down this route there are better options for engineers. Take a look at Tom Sturdy’s website. https://www.sturdycycles.co.uk/ If I had the cash that’s what I’d be buying and no I have no connections to him before anybody accuses me of marketing.

Pinkbike Poll: How Easy (or Hard) Is It to Work On Your Bike?
Also getting a bit more adventurous. Managed to shorten a Fox 36 airspring the other day to 130mm (required geometry of a new frame) as I baulked at paying over £1000 for the new Fox 34. No doubt I have voided all warranties and my frame will now crack etc., etc.,

Pinkbike Poll: How Easy (or Hard) Is It to Work On Your Bike?
I’d love to install a better BB than the crappy SRAM Dub PF92 but having tried a quality Hope one now on three separate Yeti frames (100, 115 and a 130) once the quality bearings are pressed in they bind as the BB tolerances that Yeti manufacture to just aren’t good enough. Fed up with it to be honest as with the UK weather I’m having to replace my SRAM BB 2-3 times a year. That and the SRAM crank that needs 54nM or torque! Wtf is that about.

@vinay: A Lifeline cutting guide is around £11 at CRC and I use it pretty regularly as you can also use them to trim down handlebars.

Review: Atherton AM.150.1
Noted that there’s a 130 on the way but all the hype at the moment (in the none e-bike category) is closer to 120 with a Fox34 on the front. Most bikes are so capable now that I think most of us are overbiked. Currently riding a 130 and it feels like a monster truck and whilst fun smashing through everything it feels like cheating and lacks finesse. Bugger!, just argued myself back to my old Titus Racer X which was like shit off a shovel but required a bit of focus on the downs. Lovely looking bike though.

Understanding the UCI's New Policies for Transgender Athletes
@Lanebobane: I think the challenge here is around the word transition and whether it is every really possible to fully transition to a different gender than that you were born with. How for instance does a female swimmer with size 6 feet and hands compete against a transgender swimmer with size twelve feet and hands. No matter what the testosterone levels achieved the advantage is still there.
