Video: Olympic Prep at Testing Camp with INEOS Grenadier's Tom Pidcock & Pauline Ferrand-Prevot
Yup. I just bought a wheel set with these on which I used at the Cape Epic and loved them. Had a slight buckle in the rear at the end which I trued when I got home. Dt Swiss hubs.

Pinkbike Poll: Center Lock or 6-Bolt Brake Rotor Mounting?
Not really. I always take my rotors off when I’m packing the bike for an event overseas. Centrelock is much easier and you can get an aluminium spanner from Ali express for a couple of quid.

Review: Yeti's Back in the XC Game With the 2024 ASR
@Fix-the-Spade: Get an acros headset with seals at both the upper and lower races. Had one for nearly 4 years and ok when I put the bike back together after travelling I regrease both bearings but so far it’s been bomber.

First Look: Look's X-Track Power Meter Pedals Cost a Cool $1,099 USD
@shandtke: sorry spelt it wrong - it’s Sigeyi. Looked at Quark but heavier and more expensive. Going to give it a month and if they work well I’m going to buy one for the road bike as got a EEwings crank on that and they also gave that option in the spider.

First Look: Look's X-Track Power Meter Pedals Cost a Cool $1,099 USD
Why would anybody buy power pedals for an MTB? Maybe I’m a heathen but my pedals take a beating. I’ve just bought my first power spider for a SRAM Xx1 crankset from Sigiryi. Working well so far and added about 60g in total if you care about the weight. Off to Cape Epic next week so hopefully will stop me getting over excited! USD330 - but you’ll also need the chainring on top.

First Look: Carbon Wasp Truffle - A UK-Made Carbon Downcountry Bike
Skipped the whole dribble over looks to the “How’s it ride” section and nothing seen. WTF. IMHO there’s no such thing as a quiver killer bike or ski just compromises. You can fuck around with a 120 bike but it’s still a 120 bike and whilst it may be great for everyday it’s compromised for the bike park and shuttles. Same as a good piste ski is never going to be great off-piste and given how most non professionals don’t get to spend everyday on a bike or ski stop bullshitting us into mediocre everything plaything.

Video: Anneke Beerten's Course Preview for the 2024 Paris Olympics XCO Test Event
Completely unwatchable. Turned it off after watching knees for the first 5 minutes and then some screeching. Gotta do better.

Must Watch: Gee Atherton Rides More Exposed Lines in 'Ridgeline IV: The Dolomites'
Fook me. Soundtrack really should have been “I’ve got big balls” AC/DC. Done a lot of those trails but on foot and the exposure is amazing. Chapeau.

@whambat: I have two Yetis both bought 2nd hand off eBay (probably sold by dentists). The SB130 is coil both ends and use it purely on uplift/bike park days and it’s Tiger Tony grreeaaaat.

First Ride: Classified's Electronic Two-Speed Powershift Hub
@wiesejunge: Yes I read it and not convinced tbh as looking at the design I struggle to see how there is no impact on efficiency.
