Video: Anneke Beerten's Course Preview for the 2024 Paris Olympics XCO Test Event
Completely unwatchable. Turned it off after watching knees for the first 5 minutes and then some screeching. Gotta do better.

Must Watch: Gee Atherton Rides More Exposed Lines in 'Ridgeline IV: The Dolomites'
Fook me. Soundtrack really should have been “I’ve got big balls” AC/DC. Done a lot of those trails but on foot and the exposure is amazing. Chapeau.

First Look: Moots' Womble Slider Is A UDH-Compatible Singlespeed
@whambat: I have two Yetis both bought 2nd hand off eBay (probably sold by dentists). The SB130 is coil both ends and use it purely on uplift/bike park days and it’s Tiger Tony grreeaaaat.

First Ride: Classified's Electronic Two-Speed Powershift Hub
@wiesejunge: Yes I read it and not convinced tbh as looking at the design I struggle to see how there is no impact on efficiency.

First Ride: Classified's Electronic Two-Speed Powershift Hub
Also gets a reaming on Hambini for power loss of 8-10%. Undoubtedly a clever bit of engineering but not something I’d put on my bike.

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly: The Real Bike Weights from PB Editors
Lucky enough to have two bikes. One has a Push coil and smashpot, tyre inserts with beefy tyres and I use it mainly for shuttle days and enduro and it’s brilliant for that. The other is a 130 front Fox 34 Grip 2 and 115 rear and this is brilliant for everything else including long stage races. I am toying however with going back to a Fit 4 fork with a fractive tune as the Grip 2 isn’t doing it for me currently on the XC bike. (Or a DSD Runt).

Video: Thrashing UK Trails in 'Hardtail Haulin'
Shame he had to churn the whole trail up! How hard is it to lock the rear wheel up and slide everything?

Inside Pivot's Secret Carbon Fiber R&D Facility
@Explodo: Agree. Hate PF and have a Yeti SB115. The new Yeti 120 has gone back to threaded and not before time as I think they are getting way to many warranty claims on BBs and linkages.

Fox Transfer SL Dropper Post Now Available In 125 & 150mm Lengths
Big fan of Vecnum posts. 395g for a 120mm dropper. Mechanical that can you can service. Been thrashing it for 9 months which included a 9 day stage race in Somme like conditions and it hasn’t missed a beat. Got tired of Fox posts sticking and requiring expensive servicing.

Trinity MTB's Latest Bike Places the Cassette In a Can
