Salsa Updates Full Suspension Lineup, Including First Official Downcountry Bike
Flat, boring black actually looks spectacular on the Fargo, and it's generally a good choice, but I too would enjoy the ability to buy frames in wacky colors, or at least the same colorway as completes.

58cm Bianchi Sempre Pro

$450 USD
selling a frameset given to me as a gift- I was super excited to build it up but caught the gravel bug instead- hopefully some of you are looking to build up a superlight road bike, and will be able to get more use out of it!

Review: Industry Nine's New Hydra Hubs Have 690 Points of Engagement
@wilbloodworth: certainly to each his own. I9 hubs don't seem to carry all too far in contrast to Harleys. honestly as long as theyre not being sported by Joeys high-posting over chunk, slow I9s sound the worst.

Review: Industry Nine's New Hydra Hubs Have 690 Points of Engagement
@tripleultrasuperboostplusplus: as I understand it, the pawls don't come into contact in succession, but in a way similar to how you might tighten a rotor or stem, on opposite or at least distanced sides. at the end of the day i'm going to trust Industry Nine on this one, theyve put more time, test, and thought into this than we may have over the course of today (or whenever you received the news)

the Torch series offered a similar setup so I wouldn't be surprised if they still offered it. give them a call, comment sections can't answer every question

@crewmember: on an SS, where does it make the most significant difference? high torque mashing? extremely fast pedaling where even 3 degrees gets away from ya? I'm super curious since a few other peeps I ride with have been enjoying Hydra on their geared setups where it probably makes the most impact.

very clearly stated in all the material on these is the flex of the system causing the pawls to click into place under load, like an octopus gripping something with multiple tentacles at a time, using more when necessary. it sounds like a bad idea if you only read far enough, but it seems quite plausible that they ended up going this far with engagement to make the more finely machined drive ring take more amenable to pawls grabbing under flex. large teeth would have probably made it more difficult to allow flex to help rather than hurt.

Ask Pinkbike: Knee Pad Suggestions, Tires for the Southwest & Do I Want a Singlespeed?
yeah that's not even close to what a singlespeed feels like. you still have a heavy rear end, poor chain wrap, and the derailleur. this idea's been yapped about pretty much only by people who don't have an SS. Next!
