PRESS RELEASE: Highland Mountain Bike Park

We ride all day every day, taking full advantage of Highland’s lift-accessed trails and training facilities. You’ll see your riding progress at an exponential rate as you hone your skills and learn new techniques from Highland’s professional coaching team and guest pro coaches. Our coaches have years of experience training, riding, and competing at the highest levels, and all of them are passionate about advancing and passing on their knowledge of the sport to the next generation of riders. Learn from your heroes—and get ready to take their jobs.

While there's no substitute for dedicated coaching, just as valuable are the skills campers pick up simply by riding and progressing in such close proximity to one another. This generation is pushing the sport to even greater heights, and never is that more apparent to us than at the end of each camp week. If there’s a trail you’ve been waiting to bomb or a feature you’ve always wanted to hit, camp can set you up with the skill set and stoke you need to finally send it.

Campers are housed on Tilton School’s historic campus, just a few short miles from the bike park. You’ll have access to their dining hall and recreation facilities, including a gym, basketball court, and lounges.

While camp is about riding and progression more than anything else, that’s not all we do. The fun doesn’t end when the lift stops spinning, and it doesn’t all happen on two wheels. Ayr Academy dodgeball games are the stuff of legend, transforming the Highland Training Center into an all-out battlefield. Ping pong and pool tournaments crop up after hours between coaches and campers alike, perpetuating the classic struggle of age and wisdom versus youth and beauty. No clear winner has been declared.

Camp has been extended this year to offer five sessions, from late June to early August. Multi-day and weeklong sessions are available for riders in third through twelfth grade. Several weeks have only a few spots left—so if you’re on the fence, it’s time to jump off it. Square away the details and enroll today: highlandmountain.com/camps

Even if your grom days have passed you by, camp might still be ready for you. We are actively hiring staff to join our team of coaches and overnight counselors. Previous experience in counseling, coaching, or childcare-related fields is preferred, but not required. Most important is your ability to work well with others and serve as a positive role model for our campers.
