Bird Zero TR, XL

$150 GBP
Frame: Bird Zero TR Hardtail Size: XL (I'm 6'3") Travel limit: 130 mm Wheel size: 650b Included in sale: Frame, maxle, complete headset. Condition: Excellent! Few marks, none significant, basically no damage. Geo: https://www.bird.bike/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/Zero-TR-Technical-Data-Sheet-V1.0.svg Selling my Bird Zero TR hardtail frame. It's been an amazing bike, and is ridiculously capable for a 130 mm hardtail! It's been ridden all round Tweed Valley and lots of Scotland; obviously it rips at the trail centres, but it's surprisingly capable on the off-piste too. Selling it because I'm going back to a 29er hardtail. It's barely been ridden for the past year, and definitely not aggressively. Combination of Covid restrictions and the new missus using it (firmly in the beginner camp!) means it's had a very, very easy 18 months. There are the usual little scuffs you'd expect from a ridden frame, but it was covered in heli-tape from new; some of it is still on. I've tried to capture the marks in the pictures; they're limited to some stone chips under the BB, a bit of tyre rub on the chainstays, and a tiny amount of cable rub on one or two of the cable guides. I'll ship within the UK only (from near Edinburgh), or can do pick-up around Edinburgh. Buyer pays postage and Paypal fees, and feel free to make an offer. If you have any questions, pop them over! Cheers!

Cotic FlareMax XL

$900 GBP
Blue/orange 2018 Cotic FlareMax frameset in XL (so Longshot geometry), with Cane Creek Double Barrel Air Inline. Shock and headset included, as are the cable outers for the small amount of internal routing. Geometry and measurements as per the chart here https://www.cotic.co.uk/product/flareMAX2#sizing. Bought new as a frameset in May 2018, and ridden until July 2019 where I got a longer travelled bike. It's in perfect functional condition, although it does have all the usual little paint chips that you'd expect from a used bike! I've tried to capture them in the photos, but there's some cable rub on the down tube from the seat post cable, and a little bit on the head tube. There's a fair amount of chain slap on the chainstay which is shown. Most of the frame was/is covered in helitape or wrapped up inner tube, but I obviously missed a couple of spots! Ridden primarily in Scotland around the tweed valley, but has done 60+km pedals in the highlands, bike park wales, interesting off-piste, and everything in between . Since buying the bike I've moved more towards the off-piste/enduro stuff. Don't get me wrong, this bike has more capability than I have skill, but I'm only reluctantly moving it on because I personally needed a bit more escape for those "oh bother" moments! As a trail bike it's utterly sublime. I'm 6'3" and I've genuinely not sat on a more comfortable bike before or since. Shock is currently set at 190x45 length, but it has an internal spacer than can be removed to give 190x50 which bumps up the rear travel from 120 mm to 132 mm. It feels fine, but the shock is probably due for a service - get them to whip out the spacer at the same time if you like (that's what I was going to do). Included in the sale: Frame, shock, rear hanger, rear axle, cable outers for seat post and rear mech routing, headset (including crown race), and top cap (a vital finishing item, I'm sure you'd agree). Also the frame and shock manuals will be included. Buyer pays postage, otherwise I can meet for delivery in the central belt area (Edinburgh, Glasgow, Tweed etc.). Feel free to ask any questions :) Cheers!

Nukeproof Mega TR

$350 GBP
EDIT: Price drop. The frame needs to go, the missus is getting grumpy about the space it's taking! 2015 XL Nukeproof Mega TR frame. Bought it as a complete bike from CRC in 2015, and it's been heli-taped from new - although I took the heli-tape off the downtube during stripping and cleaning. It's a brilliant bike all said and done - If it fitted me properly then there's no way I'd be getting rid of it. Selling due to reducing number of bikes I have and the frame being too short for me. I'm 6'3", and with a 60mm stem it was just (just) too dinky for my tastes. There's nothing wrong with the frame at all. The bearings are all good still, headset still has plenty of life, and other than a shallow dent from a rockstrike on the downtube (that I couldn't actually get a photo of in the light!), no major chips or dents. Chain and seatstays of both sides had been wrapped in inner tube from new, so there's no heel rub damage at all - although there are some very light scratches somehow on the non-drive side chainstay as pictured. Heli-tape around the rest of the frame has some dirt and looks grubby from use, but they still do their job perfectly! There's a small bit of cable rub on the linkage as pictured. I haven't had any big crashes on the bike. In terms of use, it hasn't had as much as would be normal (spent most of last year with a knee injury and not riding) - Strava reckons it's done 665 miles. That's not a lot since June 2015! Shock has been upgraded to an RT3 model with an aftermarket Debonair can (hence no stickers other than blue lever position). It's in perfect condition, no marks on the shaft, and was serviced mid last year, but the bike hasn't been ridden since August. There are a number of Rockshox volume reducers in the shock, will include more in the sale. Playing with the rear triangle shows a tiny amount of vertical play, so I'll change the shock bushings for new ones before sale. Sale includes: - XL Frame (comes up smaller than a normal XL. Nearer L most other bikes) - Monarch RT3 Debonair (will include original High Volume air can and spacers) - Headset - Maxle - Seat clamp (bolted) - Spare mech hanger/dropout (£20 new) Local pickup would be from Glasgow or around the Peebles (Glentress) area. Postage around the UK can be arranged too.

Monarch R, 190x51, high volume

$50 GBP
Monarch R rear shock, 190x51 measurements, high volume air can, ML tune. It was the original shock on a brand new 2015 Nukeproof Mega TR. Can't remember how many rides I used it for before I changed to an RT3 version, but it was less than 10. It's been sitting forlornly in a cupboard since June 2015 (I'd let the air out when putting it away to protect seals). It's in perfect condition other than no dust cap (pinched it to go on the RT3 when I lost that one). Can post within UK, otherwise pickup from Glasgow or Peebles area.

Cotic Solaris

$700 GBP
*Price drop to £700* 2014 Cotic Solaris, what they now call the Original Solaris on the cotic website. I bought it myself second hand in Dec 14, but subsequently swapped almost all the components to current. A long term injury meant it wasn't ridden for about year, and recovery from injury has resulted in a bit of a bike cull so I can't justify keeping it anymore unfortunately! The frame is a Large, and it was the largest that Cotic did at the time. I'm 6'3", and it is just at the limit of what I personally deem acceptable size before being too small for me, but that's only with an 80mm stem (although I do prefer very long bikes). There are a few of the usual paint chips and the like from standard use, but it's also covered in helitape that I put on when I got it myself. However, there are unfortunately a couple of heel rub marks and tyre rub marks that I helitaped after the event. I've never had a major crash on it. Kit is as follows: Frame: Large Solaris Fork: X-Fusion Slide 29. It's currently set to 120mm, but super easy internal mechanism to put between 100 and 140mm. I'll include the bespoke Park Tool tool that is needed to unscrew some internals. It's also a straight steerer with a 1.5" adapter for the race. It makes no appreciable difference to the ride in terms of stiffness when you take big wheels into account. Wheels: Superstar 29" Tactic. Bought new in Jan '15. I managed to ding the rear rim on their first ride whilst at Innerleithen, but that was purely from running highly ambitiously low pressure on tubeless. Consequently the rear will only seal tubeless if using ghetto style (which it currently is), but it's absolutely fine like that. It's held air for about 8 months of not being ridden. I put in a 10mm DT Swiss thru-lever on the rear - it's a standard drop out frame and not bolt-thru. Brakes: SLX. Looking at bit tired around the clamps from turning the bike over to take wheels off to put in the car. But it's purely cosmetic and the functionality is faultless. Discs: Avids 180mm F&R Cranks: SLX 2x with bash. Old school! Bombproof. I've replaced the rings a couple of times over the years. Currently running with Superstar roller chain device. The chain never ever drops. Mechs: Front = XT double, Rear = New Deore with clutch. Shifters: Zee 10sp on the rear, SLX front. Faultless, both work perfectly. Seatpost: Reverb with LH remote. Unfortunately means the remote looks tired from inverting to take the wheels off, but it works perfectly. Reverb came with the bike when I bought it, I've not had to send it off for repairs and it's never done the Sinking Reverb Trick on me. Saddle: Brand new SDG thing that's come off a replacement bike. Stem: Truvativ AKA All Mountain 80mm Bars: Superstar Flatland 780mm, not been cut down at all. Tyres: Hans Dampf front, Aspen on the rear. Will throw in a pair of original Nobby Nics that came with it originally. Feel free to get in touch for more info or if you'd like more pictures. Happy to haggle on price. I can post it around the country at buyers expense, but would prefer a local pick up (Glasgow and surrounding areas) where possible, or from North Yorkshire with advance notice.

Rockshox Revelation, 150mm, 27.5'', RLT, Tapered steerer. *p

$280 GBP
Literally 3 rides old (only done 53 miles) 650b, 150mm Revelations for sale. Steerer length is 193mm (roughly). Like new condition other than some light scuffing inside the arch from my mudguard which I've included a picture of. No marks anywhere else, including the stanchions. Helitape protection on the line the brake hose took. The forks are from a new Nukeproof Mega TR and were only ridden whilst waiting for Pikes to turn up. Postage included
