We've had some unusually big rain storms recently. Often years will go by with no water in that "lake." In a few more weeks it will likely be dry again.
I actually had the pleasure of seeing the XX1 in action last night and am thoroughly impressed. It will be awesome for certain types of riding. Seriously considering getting some for myself.
I rode the XX grip shift and felt a bit awkward compared to the normal XX shifters. I just you can't kick habits once you have spent all your life on trigger shifters.
i work on old bikes a lot, and short of taking off components and using a bench grinder to take rust off, wd40 and steel wool is the next best thing. im definetly going to look into their other bike lubes
