|Earlier in the summer Kurt Sorge and I managed to get together for a morning shoot. Kurt had been all over the world wrapping up "Where The Trail Ends", if memory serves me correctly he had just returned from shooting in Utah, prior to that in China, and the following week he would be on a flight to Nepal. |
Back at home for a few days in Nelson BC, Kurt and I met up to nab some shots. Looking to get some pack shots for Evoc, Sorge and I decided a little up close and personal whip might do the trick, this was a first attempt which nearly had us making contact mid flight as he blew by at near mach speeds.
Kurt along with the many others evolving the sport of Mountain Biking are truly dedicated athletes, hard work seems to be a grossly overused understatement. I was impressed with the amount of photos we bagged that day, and if 4 hours of photos can be gauged against the 2+ years spent preparing for "Where The Trail Ends" I have to say we are all in for a big surprise. - Landon Stirling
