James Doerfling pins it across Gee's gap from Rampage 2010. This year more than few people stuck this, and Doerfling almost makes it look easy here in his qualifying run, despite of the wind. Take a look at the flag blowing...

@fr112358,it's a European thing,we say the same about the Germans,(most of whom i've met are a cracking laugh),
Most people would agree when i say the judges should have been "coordinated" with their scoring from the get go.
but let us not forget that this years rampage was stomped down in history, and just insane in my books !
When i sleep at night i ride an imaginary trail.
I feel so happy and then i wake up and moments like this reminds me why i love riding even if i ride a small trail with jumps made from roten wood.
Freeride/downhill of slopestyle is not like football or
basketball because if start riding a bike you will never stop
and it will never disappoint you. I believe many people thinks
like me and we are not crazy we are the new age of ardenaline junkies
Chris: "You want me to have one of the Redbull people haul your bike up for your run?"
James: "Yeah that would be good".
Chris: "Where do you want them to take it to?"
James: "Tell them to take it to the scary part".
James D: Oh you no, just another boring day in the office.
James' Mum: What else....
James D: Dug around in the desert then sent a massive mammoth sized gap. Not much really!
James's Mum: Glad you had fun :-)
The thing that really blew me away in 2001 was a fearless 14 year old Kyle Strait manning up and stomping it to take the $500 prize for best trick! The boy had HUGE balls at such a young age! And how about those bikes.... Yeah, awesome!
Todd Barber: "Take care guys there is a lot of wind, it will be difficult to go right when jumping!"
James: "Not a problem, I love going sideway!!!"
As the desert air greets you from the moment you step into its realm, the smells, the desert dirt, it all hits you with such a high frequency you cant help but be humbled and a little nervous. The cliffs tower water is scarce and for a moment even if your surrounded by a crowd you feel alone. As I rode into the rampage site I was excited full of suspense, what would it be like who would I see what part of me would be changed as a rider and as a person. I peadled as hard as I could through the ever changing desert terrian and decided to take a line that looked like it leaded into an alternate singletrack route. Five minutes later I found myself west of the acctual trail alone and in the bottom of a gully and even though I knew I was off the beaten path I would arrive eventually.
