Casually face planting on the simplest of trails. Trying to crush otherwise.

Rio 2016 - XCO Men's Race
@IstreetSandRooster: Not necessarily true, for DH probably though. Due to country quotas only 6-7 athletes from each country total are allowed, so somewhere like GB would take a huge hit, while countries that are not as dominant could send more rider. All in all though, there is still a minimum qualification that people have to meet, so there wouldn't be the kinds of riders you see at World Champs. I race in ski cross and the Olympics are the reason we still have a sport, and a growing one at that. The Olympic courses are way bigger and better than any WC or even Xgames course.

You Don't Know Jaime 'Jimmy' Hill - Interview
Absolutely! I'd race DH already but don't quite have the spare change for it with competing in an elite sport already. So I just stick to my trail bike :)

You Don't Know Jaime 'Jimmy' Hill - Interview
You, ma'am, are a badass. Also my new inspiration that if I ever stop ski cross, I'm taking up DH racing.

Muc-Off Foam Fresh - Review
Hey Mike, instead of consistently assuming your entire audience is male, try making your posts a little more neutral. Try using -Significant Other, or Spouse'. Girls stink too, sometimes we're even proud of it, or joke about it. Sometimes its our boyfriends asking us to take a shower instead of the other way around.

Triple Crown of Slopestyle Hangs in the Balance
When the the community puts so much pressure on you to win, and then you add to it with your own pressure, second place can be devastating. Some of it could be performance anxiety. He has the process so dialled that he can really only focus on the result, and the result he wants is first and nothing less. For him he didn't perform as well as he knows he could have and that probably leads to a lot of feelings of failure. Plus, he's only competing in 3 events this year, so he wants them to go well.

But calling Minnar the winningest DH racer ever is technically incorrect, since Rachel as more wins than him. No one is comparing male and female, they don't compete against each other. But Minnar is the most successful MALE DH racer, since they are competing in the same sport.

I agree, not her fault that the ladies field is not as deep as the men.

Skiing is way faster, the catch is that 40kmh on a bike feels the same as 80-100kmh on skis if you're about the same ability in both.
