IntroCyles 2016

IntroCycles was created as an impulse from you, the fans, who have been supporting us from the very beginning with your interest and constructive dialogues. We would like to reciprocate this interest of yours by our effort of materializing the concepts into small-scale production run, so you can acquaint with them in real life. This project is about the development and manufacturing of gravity components with original solutions of the highest quality for pureblood freeriders. Our goal is to make a tool that satisfies requirements of riders without compromises and with high reliability.

Frames are handmade and the features offer a unique design. Every single piece is constructed with care and every detail is taken care of, until it is perfected. Because of this, there are no errors that may appear when a bike is mass produced in a factory. We are working on multiple models. Dirt, enduro and downhill. Every model in our collection is limited. For example, there will be at maximum 660 of Intro Tabu worldwide!

HISTORY

The bike project was founded by R.S approximately ten years ago, after impulse he got from fans who liked his sketches.



As the popularity of Robert’s sketches kept growing, eight years ago he gave birth to the first model called INTRO G 0.0. It is based on virtual pivot suspension. This model was made as a real size maquette.


The following idea that came to reality was more elaborate product - Intro Exit, which was transformed into fully functional prototype. Pure freeride geometry of Exit is very playful. It has got great suspension properties as well as manoeuvrability in technical trails. While in the air, it performs admirably as well.


The evolution of Exit has created the path for the new model - Tabu. Currently, it became our first serial model. As we reworked geometry of the frame and its suspension characteristics, the frame achieved ideal qualities of the proper freeride bike frame. The main requirement set on the evolution of model Tabu was to achieve great air and ground performance. Thanks to the middle length of wheelbase on 26'' wheels the bike is very playful and has still no noticeable problems while riding at speed, due to its low center of gravity. From the beginning, the suspension is very sensitive, with a gradual increase in stiffness. The progression of this frame hides beneath this main feature. Shorter chainstay gives the rider the opportunity to exit corners smooth and fast. In addition to this, material stiffness allows the rider to use every impulse of energy.



The concept of Tabu went through two more stages of enhancements from the first prototype. We have achieved a significant improvement in composite construction properties. Hand in hand, frame weight has been reduced too, to the state of current weight of 3400 grams. Construction is glued with Prepreg UD carbon with usage of aluminium parts from AL 7075 T6 and 26 pieces of titanium screws of class Gr.5. Available sizes are medium and long.

The brand IntroCycles is currently supporting two of Slovakia's riders. One of them, Jakub Béreš, promotes the true freeride and downhill spirit that goes hand in hand with the whole concept of our company. His impressive style of riding and passion for this sport is what amazed us. The another one, Kristína Moravčíková, has great results since she started racing in the Slovak downhill championship. Both of the riders have their own frames with custom colours. We will always remember their first words after trying the model TABU.

Our philosophy is to deliver the best quality at the expense of quantity. Development of new concepts is as well driven by this motto. Currently, we are testing the new fourcross-street HT model Funbox.


The collection IntroCycles it contains a set of stems for Freeride, Downhill and Enduro with unique construction solutions in original design from aluminium 7075 T6 and all of them have titanium bolts Gr 5. Several next components for gravity use are in development. People interested in more information about new equipment can find it on our website.


In the close future we are planning to introduce our next product, the concept of superenduro frames on 26“ and 27.5“ wheels for more aggressive shredding with playful geometry. Now we are working on the best suspension Kinematic setup. So, if all goes well we want to introduce the frame during spring. Also, we are developing a a pure-blood downhill model on 27.5 wheels for all racers that want to catch up every second. The rest of our plans remain undercover... Stay tuned for the news!
