Brandon Semenuk to Race Rally Cars for Subaru Again in 2021
@onemanarmy: Don't get me wrong, I think Rheeder is a very fast and talented rider, but the last time he raced DH was at the Crankworx summer series at Silverstar. Silverstar is his local mountain, I've seen him there a couple times and ridden past his beautiful idiot jump line. But his competition for DH was a bunch of freeriders and EWS riders but only three dedicated DH riders (Finn, Wallace, Fitzgerald [correct me if I'm wrong]). I think home field advantage definitely was in his favor.

Absolutely! Well said. I would much rather thread the needle through a rock garden at mach speed than rail manicured berms anyday. DH pros send it just as high and are just as stylish as other riders, they may not have the tricks but they make up for it with their speed and lack of fear.

Pinkbike Awards: Comeback of the Year Winner
@anchoricex: I agree, winning by 10 seconds was incredible and almost unexpected because of how close Rachel and Tahnee were during the regular season. Its hard to say whether Gee has a comeback or not, I might be wrong but his best race all year was the 2nd in Le Bresse, which might be because he is strong/fast on new tracks but not as quick as some of the other top 10 riders on older tracks.
