Mar 14, 2021Transition Sentinel Custom Build
$3800 USDBike was purchased in May 2018 and was a custom build. This bike was used extensively for nearly 3 years. So it shows the wear. Downtube was protected. Frame is in good shape, normal wear for a three year old frame. Still stout and solid, and plenty of riding left. I captured as much of the wear as possible in the pictures. I used it extensively from July 2018 to January 2021.
The frame went through a full rebuild on suspension pivots with all new bearings in Dec 2020, and still in excellent condition. Comes with the Cascade Components Link and the old link, so rear travel is more like 147mm. All else is maintained and work, especially suspension. The fork, shock, and dropper were rebuilt in Dec 2020 and I rode them a couple times to make sure the rebuild worked. But the fork and shock really have not been ridden since Oct 2019, as I rode a coil setup, so I got a full rebuild for this sale with new seals, wipers, and all. Can include receipt for that as well.
Known issues:
Rear derailleur and shifting is showing its age. Shifting is still solid, but wear is showing in the cable, housing, chain, cogs, derailleur cage, etc. I will include new top three cogs for the E13 cassette.
