2016 Transition Patrol 1 My wife is the original owner of this bike. She has always had a downhill bike and a trail bike, and this was her trail bike. That's relevant as it was never shuttled, only pedaled, and has had pretty light duty use. In June she moved into the "one bike quiver" and this bike is just sitting. With the carbon bits and pieces in the highest end build kit offered in 2016, this bike is lighter than you might think. Always kept inside and maintained regularly. I just re-taped the tubeless set up with Muck-Off tape and filled up the new rear tire, and relatively fresh front tire with 90ml of Stan's Tubeless Fluid. The stock RSC levers developed the swollen piston problem, so we have just put new Guide R levers on. So the brake bleed is fresh and the levers are new. You are welcome to have the old levers if you think you can rebuild them, the process looked too tinkery for me. The cult classic first women's specific Free Ride bike. This is the Transition Syren that has the Gussets up front, so I am not sure what year they added those. I think it is 2012 or newer? My wife used to ride this bike all over the mountains, up and down. It has the Hammer Schmidt transmission which uses planetary gears up front. Wide bars, lots of travel. After my wife was done with this bike, both my kids would take it to Whistler. Makes all the chunder smoothe. Really effective suspension. Kids out grew the bike, and my wife has a more modern 27.5" now. So, it just sits, waiting to be ridden. Now it only gets taken out once or twice a year. My son claims it is a super fun bike for jumping (for whatever that is worth).
