Review: Rocky Mountain Slayer C50
I agree, a 200mm dual crown & 27.5 would probably fix things. Maybe that should have been one of the build kits

Interview: Vaea Verbeeck on Women Competing at Red Bull Rampage
@krhaack: It’s unfortunate but I think I see the same challenge. The current level of riding at Rampage is on another level. There is some risk/potential that having Women on the same course would be underwhelming when back to back with the current riders. The women’s progression has been awesome to see, but it may get lost in comparison. It’s good to hear they are hungry for it though

Review: Specialized Dissident 2 Helmet - Downhill Safety at an Enduro Weight
@noodlewitnosteeze: important thing to consider - double D ring fasteners only work if the rings are held in parallel, which requires the chin strap being secured tight. A lot of riders keep some slack in their chin strap which can result in D-ring failure/ helmet ejection. Recently occurred to an acquaintance of mine on track

Review Addendum: Bluegrass Legit Carbon Helmet - I Tested It More by Crashing
@alicialeggett: Great to hear your follow-up on the helmet and glad you are still with us! I was interested to hear about how the MIPS held up as well. Your storey inspired me to up my helmet game. I’m now rocking a Lazer Cage, the first full face to receive 5 stars from the Virginia Tech rating system. It would be great if PB could give us an article of how their testing works and the rating system. I feel like a lot of us pick our helmets for aesthetics and comfort, but your story is a reminder that safety should be a top priority.

Video: Remy Metailler Rides Whistler's New Heli Biking Specific Trail
@racerben: I have a family and our first electric only had enough range for city driving. Once we could afford it we sold our van and the first electric and bought one with enough range for all our driving. No issues with it, was just not as capable as what’s on the market today.

@skiandmtbdirtbag: Check your link for Ontario, you have to select your province to account for your energy sources, completely contradicts your point above. If you’re going to get into the argument of embedded carbon you need to factor in the embedded carbon in making that trail. Regardless of the exact number, I think we can both agree this is a stupid way to spend money and use gas. There are dozens of great bike parts and lift assisted trails on the west coast at a fraction of the price.

@skiandmtbdirtbag: zero, I’m on my second electric car. Haven’t bought gas in years. It’s awesome, totally recommend it when you’re able to make the switch.

@skiandmtbdirtbag: a simple search on google shows that many turbine helicopters have a burn rate into the 100’s of litres per hr.
