Red Bull Rampage 2014: Injury Update - Aggy

Looks like the people's champ is down with an injury after a bail from a dumped 3 on the Polaris booter during practice runs yesterday. More details to come but it doesn't sound like Aggasiz, the number one Rampage qualifier, will compete in finals today.

Number one qualifier for the day Graham Agassiz.

 Vital's photo slideshows are always f*cking on point, their WC coverage is stellar. The audio/photo combo rocks

 Vital seems to be more raw and "fast" material where as pinkbike generally has better quality stuff. Just my 2 cents.

 Reminding the fast Stevie's achievements, from the aerodynamic point of view I can now tell it is a yes for a mustache, and a no for more hair when it comes to face winds and rotations. There should be some science done over this. Flying involves aerodynamic features of shapes and plains.

 Question, when the event is over today how long until Redbull usually puts it on their site to rewatch? I have to work all day and I cant watch it till tonight.

 @Biocoug1 Usually, the live-player is automatically switched to a replay-player at the end of an event. Wink

 You can stream it on your phone/tablet through Redbull TV app. That way you don't have to use company internet Smile

 You got to move to Scandinavia Biocoug, then you'll be able to take sick-leave and still run a company. Everyone is used to waiting for a service here, particularly from a TV/broadband tel companies hahaha

 @Senseless I just couldn't watch Rampage on a 4.5 inch screen when I have a 125" projector screen waiting for me at home. Sorry I'm being a spoiled brat about this one haha Smile

@Waki I'd move to in a heartbeat. Probably much better science jobs in Europe right now anyway. Biotech is dying here.

 I'm thinking about going Black Ops Code Silent Black Out mode on purpose actually...no bike sites or media until tonight....the live feed usually buffers at exactly the wrong moments anyways...The RedBull site and/or torrents are pretty good about not having spoilers in the titles...then I can snag it with the videodownloader for seamless playback Smile

 damn. the event is brutal. practice, qualis and finals all with the same significant high risk. gutted for him. his second quali run was scary big. andreu and aggy's were the runs i was looking forward too the most.

 aggy must be cursed, he always smashes his lines in qualies & ya just know if he makes it to finals he's taking top spot, but always goes out injured, bad luck man, heal up quick.

 If this is a Red Bull event, and there is Red Bull TV, why the hell isn't EVERYTHING to do with Rampage televised? Qualifier rounds and entire finals, it's maddening!

 Well if he hadn't crashed in finals last year, he would've been pre-qualified.
I may be wrong, but you seem to be almost angry at the organizers. It's just the way the rules are: top 10 in finals gets you pre-qualified. Any other way would be pure favoritism.

 I don't think there are any haters on Aggy. PB community loves this guy and last days we got the best proof of that. I was shocked to read the news and I couldn't believe my eyes at the very first moment. After such an efort and such a great quali run to miss the finals is a bummer. I'm sure that his second quali run will be one of the highlights on Rampage this year. That was insane run.

 Hah. So whiney. Nothing up my ass kid.. I guess it's that all these 14 year olds are so invested in changing how this event is run this time around. It's just interesting to me that this is the first time internet slacktivism has really annoyed me. So many keyboard warriors think they know better than the professionals putting serious man hours into these events.
