Silca Releases $85, 3D-Printed, Titanium Cleats
This seems like a complete misuse of 3D printing technology, they're just using it so people say, "3D printing, cool!" You use 3D printing for protoyping or to save on tooling costs - which obviously weren't passed down to the customer in this case... The other application would be to make something that would be difficult to machine otherwise, but it's pretty obvious from the better products on the market this isn't a limitation. Oh, and they're also cheaper and last longer.

Race & Accessibility in the Mountain Bike Community
This is great to see, and well put. I never thought about racism in a hobby/sport because that's the area where we're just free to choose what we want, unlike a career with hiring/firing/politics and people in positions of power. In a recent, similar post from the triathlon community they touched on similar issues regarding expense and access to facilities, but they went on to say how in some areas people or color are profiled when they're just trying to ride a bike. I believe the stat was from Florida where 70% of the bike tickets were handed out to people of color, where they only comprise ~26% of the population. Other people talked about having racial slurs slung at them while out riding, it's awful. I take the point that we (the "white majority?") need to be part of the solution, but anyone from the minority, please speak up now and share your thoughts. We're listening, we just don't live it, so sometimes we miss the most obvious things.

Looking for an XL Norco Sasquatch. From the looks of it there don’t seem to be many out there. Interested in any Sasquatch post 2016, with the 197mm TA rear. Thanks!

2011 Zipp 404 aluminum clinchers. Only mounted for races and shake down runs prior to said races. No crashes or excessive brake wear, you can see the minimal wear on the hub splines. Wheels are in excellent condition and offer very quick bolt-on speed. The 404s are only 58mm deep, which gives much better performance in the cross-winds. Sold with skewers, tubes and tires, but no cassette. Tires will need to be replaced as they are showing some fraying from age. These will only fit a 10 speed cassette. Price drop, I will still entertain reasonable offers. ** Tentative deal, will update ad when sold or still available.
