May 5, 2023Trek Slash 9.8 XT - Medium
$4000 USDBought this last year but just don't ride it as much as I thought I would. I'm a pretty light XC racer so the bike hasn't taken a whole lot of abuse, and probably only has 30 hours of riding. Full XT drivetrain with powerful quad piston XT brakes, bontrager carbon wheels, and carbon handlebars and frame. This model has downtube storage so you can put tools and other stuff in the frame. The Zeb and Super Deluxe from Rockshox are a dream and this bike can handle whatever you want to throw at it. Comes with 780mm bars and 170mm cranks, 200mm/180mm rotors. I can throw in CushCore DH in the rear for $50.
Feel free to shoot me any questions you might have.

Garmin Launch Solar-Powered Edge 540 & Edge 840
To be fair, I have an Edge 530 and with brightness turned down, connected to a couple different bluetooth devices, I get around 40 hours of battery life.

Feb 28, 2023S-Works Recon Size 8
$150 USDUsed these for a season, replaced them with a fresh pair. They're super stiff and light, and the bottoms tread is notoriously durable. Men's size 8 US or size 41 EU. Free shipping to US, international contact me.

Jan 31, 2023GX Carbon Crankset - 175mm
$150 USDThese are 175mm, and weigh just 50 grams more than the top of the line $550 XX1 cranks. DUB boost spacing (standard MTB size). Cosmetic damage and scratches pictured, but mechanically sound. Doesn't come with a chainring but I can throw one in for a good price if you're interested. Will ship free anywhere in the US, if you're in Canada let me know and we can work something out. Venmo, Paypal, or local meetup.

Jan 25, 2023Yeti SB130 TLR
$3400 USDThis is a no frills beast of a trail bike. It sports an XO1/GX drivetrain paired to Fox Factory suspension with butter smooth Kashima coating and Sram's nicest, most powerful Code RSC brakes. This is Yeti's Turq Lunch Ride build, which alone retails for $3700. Made for more aggressive riding, it sports a slacker head angle and a bit of extra travel with more tuneable Grip2 and Fox DPX2 dampers. It doesn't take long to find glowing reviews about this bike's sturdy switch infinity pedaling platform, but to top it off a Cascade Components has been installed which slackens the bike further and gives it twice the progressivity for a more supple ride that takes big hits like a champ. Selling because I grew out of it, but I'm a 135 pound XC racer so the bike took little abuse and the drivetrain has been kept clean, lubricated, and precise. Will ship for free anywhere in the U.S, or local pickup near Golden, CO. A few nicks on the paint, let me know if you want detailed pictures.
Shoot me a message with any questions you may have. Discount for NICA racers.

Opinion: The Pace of Change in the MTB World is Slowing Down, and I'm All For It
@EdSawyer: if a trail can be ridden comfortably on a liteskin schwalbe i don’t think it’s relevant to this discussion haha

@notthatfast:
Steel, standard electrical components, hoses, and plastic are really cheap, especially if weight is less important than cost. I have a $12,000 team bike and a $5,000 car. Car gets me long distances but damn is it a piece of shit compared to the marvel of engineering that is electronic shifting, carbon fiber, and factory suspension which is all criminally lightweight. You’re right, not a valid comparison at all.
