This is definitely one of my happy places. Was there this weekend with a crew of 13 people. One of the best places to ride in the East.

What's the riding out there like? I'd been given the impression that it was only rideable on downhill rigs. Based on this video, is there more riding like this that doesn't require 160mm+ of travel?

Giant Trance Advanced SX - First Ride
Expensive bikes become affordable when you buy them at the end of the season. I just picked up a Trek Remedy 9.8 - MSRP $5,400, clear-out price to the dealer (bike shop) $3,180, price to consumer (me) $3,800. Of course there is tax on that but nonetheless, at full price there is no way I would spend over $6K, but at this price it's an awesome deal!

Norco Range Killer B-2 Review
I was talking with a bike rep this weekend (Trek) about cross border shopping (buying in the US as a Canadian). Seems warranties don't transfer - for Trek at least. May be worth asking before taking the plunge and not having a warranty!
