The KROSS Earth has already won the UCI MTB World Cup and the European MTB Championships in Glasgow but the final challenge for the new full suspension cross country bike by the polish brand KROSS is coming this weekend at the World Championships in Lenzerheide. Moreover, Jolanda Neff from the KROSS Racing Team will be hoping to defend the title she won last year in Cairns on the KROSS Level TE. The new lightweight full-suspension XC race machine with its contemporary “Efficient Single Pivot Suspension” system will give her the best chances

"Efficient Single Pivot System"

The new “ESPS – Efficient Single Pivot Suspension”, crafted by KROSS engineers is the centerpiece of the full Carbon KROSS Earth. The self-developed suspension is based on a single pivot construction. It optimizes the rear suspension and counters the effects of uneven pedaling forces at the same time. ESPS is engineered to efficiently balance anti-squat levels and pedal kickback effects. A recent independent lab test by the Polish Bikeboard magazine positions it as one of the most efficient on the market for 2019. ESPS reduces energy loss and guarantees effective acceleration even on steep uphill sections which Jolanda Neff has proven many times this season. ESPS allows for a more accurate adjustment of damper compression (because of a low Leverage Ratio parameter). In addition, every KROSS Earth model has a rear carbon link as standard for the suspension to work at its best.

DEVELOPED BY CHAMPIONS
Agility, speed and control define the nature of the aggressive frame that was developed in close cooperation with the KROSS Racing Team. The extremely stiff carbon frame with 100mm travel and a tapered head tube has a progressive geometry and weighs 1,85 kg in size S. The Earth, that helped Jolanda Neff win her overall UCI World Cup victory, has all the contemporary features such as internal cable routing, flat mount brakes and boost technology – a wider hub with wider spaced spokes increases the stiffness of the wheel which also contributes to power transition.

„Kross Earth is a great full suspension bike. I won two World Cups and European Championships on it and it's so much fun to ride it. It's perfectly smooth in the downhills and gives me a lot of traction on the uphills. It's a really amazing bike. I rode it on different tracks and on all trails it works perfectly fine.“, says Kross Racing Team member and European XC Elite Women’s champion Jolanda Neff.

For the 2019 season, the KROSS Earth will be available in 4 models, carbon and aluminum. All of them feature ESPS and carbon links.
