haha sick.. good to see some londy footage in there.. those are 2 famous spots.. the bandshell franke had some wicked lines on there.. the uwo is always a bust though.. so many other great street spots in that town but you need some knowledgable old locals for the most part to bring you to them.

 dwok.
  • + 3
I dont understand why he is on the cheaper Octane gear and not on the NS team??? Matt needs more respect!!! He's the top 26 street rider and has been for years
  • + 1
maybe because of a better contract with octane one!
  • + 6
cuz ns allready has Pilgrim... and octane needs good riders too. thats what he told me.
  • + 1
I don't get why everyone is feeling it nececcary to criticize the song or his clothes. If you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all. They teach that in like grade one for fucks sake.
  • + 2
Sweet edit, Macduff, as always. But man, this genre of hip hop makes my ears bleed.
  • + 3
Agree steezysam, see the name MacDuff and press play.

Is there a font size increase we could use for "A LOT"... Does b>A LOT/b> work?
  • + 1
Music was SO bad that I had to turn off the sound... WTH?! I could understand if it was about guns, hookers, drugs, niggas and BMWs!

Yeah Neg me I don't give a F...

Maaaaan, I did the same... the audio/video contrast is like... infinite!!! Great video, incredibly stupid song... if I can call that a song.....

Ok, I have been watching videos like these for a few years now- is my bike a brick compared to the professionals? I ride a 2005 P1...I weigh 125lbs, I am 5 feet 5 inches tall and I could never lift my bike over a park bench. I can get it over a 5 gallon pale pretty easy, but watching these guys ride makes me feel like I just have the wrong equipment? Do they make light DJ's?

Oh, awesome video! Matt is in my list of top 3.
  • + 0
I used to ride one of those. With these bikes they're pretty heavy, to hop high you have to get the front end high too because they're heavy, It's harder to only pick up the front end a little and bring the rest of the bike up with you, so like I said I was able to hop higher by getting the front end higher. Riding it kind of reminded me of riding BMX, similar handling characteristics only larger and more sluggish.
  • + 1
Your bike is much heavier than a street built Dj. But more importantly the geo is much less suited on your bike.
  • + 2
i run a deity streetsweeper. it started out pretty heavy but the small things is what shaves the real weight. had the build feeling great but it was 28lbs. I recommend looking at how much your tires weigh (bontrager xr1 s are psycho light) , dont use a half link chain, switch to a pivotal seat and plastic pedals. those changes among other things took the bike down to 24.5 the lighter weight helps a ton
  • + 3
A good setup / geo is more important then weight though. We both have good geo for street / park. His is more dirt oriented so even if he gets it down to 24-25 pounds it will still not ride the best. He should look into frames before anything else.
  • + 3
good point! i have considered going back to half link because regular has been skipping. and on the pedals i run deitys so i still have metal pins. for sure dont sacrifice strength or how the set up feels to shave weight.
  • + 1
Yeah there is absolutely no excuse to sacrifice strength just I have a lighter bike.
  • + 1
Maybe I should just find a lighter bike? Go BMX. After all I am only 125 LBS. I feel like when I try to hop on my bike, I am lifting tonage!
  • + 1
If you ride a lot of street / park I'd look into getting a new bike personally. Now I prefer 24/26 over bmx so I'd take a look at a second hand ns/dobermann/Blake market or a new ns complete but bmx is also a good choice if you're on a tighter budget.
  • + 1
I really do not do any street at all. Everything I ride is in the Dirt mostly. I like changing my wheels to 24 inch though. That really could help. I had a Diamond back bike that was all silver with 24's...worked great.
  • + 3
Do not put 24's on this frame though it will be bad. I also wouldn't go bmx for dirt riding. A p1 wouldn't be to bad I don't think for dirt so I'd say just upgrade this one. Maybe a lighter fork or some lighter wheels as those noticeably affect the way the bike rides. What's your spec ?
  • + 1
No idea what my specs are. 2005 P1/P2? I had the bike converted from 8 speed to single speed, other than that the whole bike is original equipment.
  • + 1
Hmm I'd actually jut look into a new bike. Look for a used ns/black market/ octane 1/ a p3 a dartmoor or even a banshee something like that. Depending on your budget.
  • + 1
No budget at this time. I love my bike, but I will do some more research- Haro, you make some good suggestions! Thank you all for the help. Just want to progress and feeling left behind.
