Field Test: 2020 Yeti SB165 - A Pedalable Park Bike
@Colson217: Everyone knows 27.5 = fun/cool and 29 = fast/not fun/not cool. I just want to have fun but not be cool, or maybe it’s fast and cool. I’m getting a Reactor with a 24” front and a 29” rear. That’ll be the best of all worlds.

This bike rips! It handles everything you want to ride, from mellow Missoula to Nelson, BC. 27.5 inch wheels with 130 mm travel in the rear that punches waaaay above its weight class with 150 mm in the front. A 65 degree head tube angle ensures no descent is too steep, and the short 425 mm chainstays let you manual any place, any time. This has been, without a doubt, the most fun bike I've ever owned--it's seriously always a hoot on the Scout. I've taken good care of this bike and it hasn't seen any significant damage--just a few paint chips near the tires. Aluminum frame, GX Eagle build with SRAM Code R brakes--it's a trail bike built to party on Enduro hits! Rockshox Lyrik fork just serviced Fox DPX2 shock just serviced SRAM Code R downhill brakes with metal pads Lightly ridden Maxxis Double Down Minion DHR 2 rear tire Vee Tire Co WCE Snap Gravity front tire Raceface 780 mm Chester bars DMR Deathgrip grips e-13 TRS wheelset ANVL Tilt composite pedals Transmission just tuned You pay for shipping.

@stonant: I ride up gloveless and ride down gloved. Everybody’s happy.
