Liv, the cycling brand dedicated to getting more women on bikes, has announced their Factory Racing and Racing Collective team rosters.

Liv Factory Racing, Liv’s UCI World Cup Cross-Country (XCO) team, welcomes Jenn Jackson (Canada) and Ronja Blöchlinger (Switzerland). Jackson is a former Elite Canadian National XCO Champion (2021). She also participates in Enduro in her spare time and won the unofficial Canadian Enduro National Championship in 2022. Blöchlinger joins as an XCO athlete in the U23 category. In 2022, Ronja won the U23 Swiss XCO National Championships, UEC Elite XCC European Championships, and was a member of the Team Relay MTB World Champions team. She also took 2nd place U23 at UCI Mountain Bike World Cup Val di Sole. Jackson and Blöchlinger join Linda Indergand (Switzerland), World Cup XCO Elite athlete and Tokyo Olympics Bronze Medalist.

Be so nice to see JJ flourish with LIV, a way better fit for her rather than her previous " Lipstick n Lulu " team

Cool they're supporting a paralympics athlete (Allysa Seely). Did a quick search and at first sight the bike appears like a regular one. Did they develop special adaptations or does she actually race a production bike? I know little about the discipline and could see pictures of her wearing such a spring-blade for running, but what does she use for swimming? And like in regular triathlon, does she have quick ways to change from one discipline to another? (Like a quick way to replace a flipper with a rigid leg with pedal cleat to a running blade?) I really know little about all this but I think it is super cool that it exists.

Why they gotta do Jenn like that? "Unofficial" Enduro National Champ??
  • 1 1
The Enduro National Champs aren’t sanctioned by Cycling Canada ‍♀️

@eliznwalker: So then if no one governs them they can call themselves what they want. Official. (see also: USA calling themselves world champions in American football)

@Sanderson22: Ha! I agree entirely with the "world champs of american football" thing, but honestly, can you find another team that would beat the NFL champs? Same goes for MLB.
  • 1 0
@jaycubzz: Could you find another Canadian enduro race that was of a higher caliber who also called themselves a National Championship race?
  • 1 1
@Sanderson22: Um, I am not sure? I was commenting on the comparison to the NFL.
  • 1 0
@jaycubzz: Therefore Canadian Enduro National Champs are official.
  • 1 1
@Sanderson22: But the World Series and the Superbowl are sanctioned by the best baseball league in the world and the best american football league in the world.

If it ain't sanctioned, it ain't official, even if it deserves sanctioning.

Be cool to see a Liv DH team

Liv doesn't make a DH bike. Would be awesome if they did though.

@mwjetta: Liv livery on a Glory would work I’m sure

Cool to see all those amazing riders, with a bit of Dutch pride as well (Tessa)!
