@Highclimber: oh, all I have to do I call someone with a lathe? So a piece of plastic designed in 2013 can still mushroom limit screws, warp, and fail catastrophically? Try using zee for three days at Northstar, see what happens to your beloved derailleur. There isn't a downhill cassette lighter than the stock Sram one piece either. Do you try and tell people your cart and buggy is better than their Mercedes too?

Who downvoted this? These frames had known, acknowledged by commencal issues. They've improved the design accordingly. Or does someone here just hate commencal? For f#&@'s sake people

Who knows. I do know saint hasn't been updated in years. X0 downhill is updated annually. A new GX 3.0 7 speed derailleur blows a saint or zee derailleur out of the water, it's not even close. And I just don't have the strength for a gripping conversation on brakes at the moment, but I love my Guides and can't wait to get some Codes. I still really like Shimano brakes, when they're consistent. The inconsistent bite point and bleeding them between runs has to be seen as a negative to a race teams, the former especially as a run killer.

I vote for option A. They get more focused support that way too and more of a say in product development as well. To Fox' credit they're so successful and popular they just can't offer the individual attention and preferential treatment that BOS can. That and it sounds like they got on with the forks quite well. My two cents.

@PauRexs: old commencal supreme, so yeah he probably did some damage in that landing. Still love those frames though.

@neimbc: I certainly caught some hell pointing that out earlier this year. Of course, having been of the opinion that rampage wasn't right somehow, and living a twelve hour drive away from the site of rampage I decided to see for myself. For one thing, Google maps will give you directions straight to the end gate. So that was fun. For another, I've only been to Utah for all of 8 hours and it's gorgeous. Anyways, HOLY F@$#!!!! So now I'm still trying to pry my foot out of my mouth, however, I still absolutely agree that seeing more technical lines would be just as enjoyable as seeing big air being thrown off of a razors edge. Cam Zink's run and Aggy's from last year are my favorite of all time, just those wild descents...
