The Mountain Creek Bike Park Trail Crue are back at the office getting things ready for the 2013 season. But while we were waiting for the last skiers to exit for the winter they took it to two wheels for a little spring trail assessment. Mark your calendars... Opening Day is Saturday May 4th. See you there.

Most of the people that ski there don't even realize there are bike trails running throughout the place.

A lot of people imagine riding downhill in the summer at a ski resort means riding straight down the ski runs

Took my seven year old there to ski this year several times. I pointed out the trails I once rode there (before he was born and it was Diablo). They are much different from the Diablo days, from what I saw. I'll have to either take my DH bike out of retirement or rent their GT Fury and find my inner shred. Kudos MCBP, stay badass!

The post I saw about it was pretty grim , it sounded like the people that were making it what it was were done with the management and moving on I've never ridden there but it's kinda close , me being in Philly and all there is not a lot in this area So I hope it remains a quality place to ride , that would be great Can't wait to finally get up there

Did they change the place much? I remember Diablo being really crazy before. Huge @$$ boulders in the middle of the trail. Looks like they upped the flow.

Dude it's honestly 100x better than Diablo ever was. A proper trail crew, that takes care of all the trails the way they should, great bike shop, awesome biergarten at the base for some mid day food/brews. I've made the 2.5 hour trip up there 7 times last season, sometimes 2x per weekend

wtf why does mountain creek need a pb 600? kinda big for the amount of snow they get?
  • 1 0
Very observant Hobbs. We groom 100% of our trails nightly and the 600 has been a great addition our fleet.
