Destination Showcase: Nelson, New Zealand with Katy Winton, Joe Nation & Rae Morrison
Please come visit the ER I work in sometime. You may find the loco culture is the one that can't seem to manage (yet another) largely preventable illness. Look up NZ covid stats, and nobody will have to "preach" about how a little common sense and caution can go a long way.

"What do you do to rest and recover after a race?" He forgot to mention that he plugs the bike back in.

Video: Lewis Buchanan Follows Jackson Goldstone on his Home Trails in Squamish
What is up with all the bitching on this???? That kid freakin rips, that trail is gnarley. Don't like the edit or the quality? Gimme a break. Goldstone's riding is pure, unfiltered athletic art. This riding speaks for itself. While the video connoisseurs out there are busy bleating over their ticky-tack predilections, the other mountainbikers are getting inspired by this content and getting ready to send.

British Rider Needed 17 Stitches After Hitting Barbed Wire Trail Trap
Anecdotally, in North America the people who seem to get caught doing these traps are usually white retirees. It's NIMBYism taken to an extreme. Some of these boomers are toxically resentful of mountainbikers on trail systems.

British Rider Needed 17 Stitches After Hitting Barbed Wire Trail Trap
I don't know fences as well as you, but live in the Rockies in ranch country, so plenty of barbed wire here (not as much the booby trap variety). Those lacerations definitely do not look like they were caused by barbed wire. I'm presuming the perpetrator did not use classic barbed wire there.
