The third round is heading to Rovaniemi in the Arctic circle. There are four stages that the riders had to practice on today. The course seams to be very technical and hard going in many places. One of the most challenging stages would be Rysky in practice today. The top of this stage is unique to the Lapland region. With moss growing in the holes amongst the rock. Riders have to go through this making the exposed rocks slippery and the rest of the Retro stage very tricky. This will make the correct line vital in tomorrows race. The other stages are just as demanding. A long flat pedaling across the top of the early parts of the Happo will soon tired the riders out. Letkee the 1st stage has plenty of off camber and tricky sections. Retro the 3 stage starts off as fast pedalling then has a series of rock gardens again making it technical for riders.
