@mark3: No, and this is coming from another non smoker or weed smoker. As far as I'm aware, its the hazardous compounds / ingredients that they use or mix with the tobacco that give that high and give cigarettes an addictive trait. like if you went out to the fields and picked out raw tobacco, it would be much better for you as it doesn't have the harmful additives, but wouldn't get you addicted. Which is why the companies add these chemicals - to keep you wanting more, which means more sales. Whereas weed doesn't have these added compounds, so (scientifically at least) weed isn't bad for you like the cigarettes.
