Hardline returns with changes made to the track to make it a little bit crazier. Alongside this, the fans have returned once again to be able to witness the madness for themselves.

Bernard Kerr- Riding after a crash on a 90ft gap slam? That is tenacity.Speaking of that Gee Atherton must be one of the toughest competitors on the planet after breaking literally everything and now back up to speed, just amazing. Jackson Goldstone is carrying the torch for the next generation of multitalented freeride racers. One of the most raw events in MTB.
Gee is pretty tough. I mean he only took some of the hardest slams in DH MTBing and freeriding history at the gnarliest events and while filming possibly the gnarliest line ever. That seems pretty tough.
Vincent Tupin backfliped the step up and suicided the road gap, should be nice to have some picture ? (Sorry for the chauvinisme) Unbelivibel Kerr, so fast i lost my english
The amount of hype and coverage this event has had this week is insane. I hope something is in the works. More stoked on this than World Cups and I love me a good World Cup race
If I'm a bonehead, then please say so. But is Remy Metailler too much of a robot to be invited to Hardline? If anyone was built to kill a line like that it's him
My only thought is he is really the master of slow tech, I mean we have all seen him ripping up bike parks, has the skills etc but there is something very different here, but both really huge and big style riding.
@dhjunkie: I hear you on the slow tech. He is mental on all that technical slow stuff. Except there is no one that hits whistler hits with the speed he does. He boots over landings and slams the next ones like they were built for him. Show me a video of someone that owns whistler like Remy.
I have no idea if he was invited or not. But I don’t think we can just assume any rider who isn’t there has never received an invite. I’m sure there are plenty of riders who have declined an invite for whatever the reason but they don’t make that info public.
If Jackson wins my mind will be truly blown. He is without doubt in a league of his own in his age group. From the speed on the DH circuit to the steez on a jump line and now hucking these rediculois hits at speed. Looking forward to the next 10 years of shredding.
Some really high quality photography here from Nick Bentley. That B&W shot of the crowd with the dude in the Dickies shirt right in the center shot staring right at the camera is brilliant.
I'm actually very disappointed at Pinkbike Racing's lack of coverage around their obviously best racer, Thibault. Seems like the whole series was dominated by Cathro and the juniors, while Laly was just crushing it and was clearly better than all of them. I'm a fan of Cathro's videos...kinda, but man, respect Laly and give him the coverage. There was a seperate video about every team rider except him...disrespectful for someone who qualified regularly for the WC races. Now, Laly is SENDING it at hardline, and no video, no inside the tape, no footage, not even recognition that he's there....
disappointed.
@whoozh: You've got completely the wong end of the stick. The majority of the series will come out after the season - with each rider getting two episodes each. Thibault's first episode is next. I saw the first draft the other day and it's absolutely fantastic.
Agreed.
I think its awesome that she was riding such an insane track. I thought being the first and only female riding that there'd be quite a bit of footage of her but I couldnt really find much. Couple of short clips on her Insta is about all I could find. Maybe I was watching all the wrong video clips........
Would love PB to do an article of her experience at Hardline along with some video footage and photos. 'hint hint'
Awesome photos btw!!
