Ridden and Rated: 5 Four-Piston Brakes
In all the 25 years i have been riding and racing mountain bikes I've never had a set of brakes i have been 100% happy with. This day and age with modern tech and designs these now should be 100% reliable and with prefect modulation and loads of power. For some reason no one can get it totally right. Its about time someone got their act together and sorted it once and for all.

Danny MacAskill Smashing Carbon Wheels - Video
Always makes me laugh these videos. I'm sure Santa Cruz could make a nice set of mega strong aluminium rims that could take exactly the same abuse if they wanted too.

Crankbrothers Expands Stamp Flat Pedal Lineup
Blimey, I didn't realise that serious mountain bikers still rode bikes with flat pedals! Really?

Manon Carpenter Retires from DH Racing
I have huge respect for her descion and I dont blame her. I have watched over the years bike tech make the bikes go really fast and the courses get more and more severe. The risk of a massive injury is extremely high. Good luck to her in her new adventures and go back to having fun on a bike. That is ultimately what it is all about.

Garbanzo DH Winners: Bike Checks - Crankworx Whistler 2017
I have to say the glory looks quit dated now considering. There are lots of other manufacturers pushing the boundaries of bike design and this has stayed stagnant.

Is This Linkage Fork the Future of Suspension? - Crankworx Whistler 2017
If things don't change they will stay the same. Glad to see people pushing boundaries for better performance and not afraid to try out something different. Looks like it works really well. Crack on and good luck with the project

David Valero's Prototype MMR - Mont-Sainte-Anne XC World Cup 2017
@LeDuke: probably is. But he would be even faster if his stem was the right way up!

Bloody upside down stems, I hate upside down stems! Mountain biking isn't just about climbing it's about all gradients. Seems to me these dudes only care about the ups and not the downs
