The Dudes of Hazzard: Enduro is on for You
10 Seconds of that singing is hilarious. 11 seconds and I'm looking at something else.

Brandon Semenuk is the FMB Overall Champion
Crankworx was one of the first things that caught my attention when I got back into this a few years ago. Compare the vibe you would get presenting the FMB overall winner at that festival, with it's thousands of spectators and presumably all the top Slopestyle riders in attendance to the 1/3 empty podium we saw at Rampage playing second fiddle to the main event.

Really? Cause I'm not sure anyone could make a case that the standings in that competition didn't reflect who is where in Slopestyle riding at the moment. Which would suggest that it has served it's purpose pretty well. I think presenting the winner (of the FMB overall) at Rampage is a mistake though - Messere wasn't even there (on account of not riding in Rampage I assume) and the presentation certainly took a back seat to Lacondeguy's 1st on the day. I'm not surprised Semenuk was a bit underwhelmed. It's worth asking the question if Rampage should even count towards the FMB overall. It's certainly big enough to stand on it's own as a one off and quite a few of the riders who excel at slopestyle are clearly unsuited (or unprepared or whatever) to the type of riding demanded by Rampage. It's a bit like playing Rugby Union all year then playing Rugby League for the Grand Final (which will mean NOTHING to any of you who aren't from Australia, New Zealand or a small part of Northern England).

2014: A Photo Epic - The Complete DH World Cup Story
I don't think people (myself included) have an issue with saying 'I like Ratboy'. It's saying 'I DON'T like Gee' (or Gwin or whoever). One is a positive statement. The other negative.

I'm almost positive someone has asked this question at some point in the past but - Why have a one off race like this when you've already got an entire series that seems to more accurately determine who is the best rider for the year? If we've got the spare time just add another round to the series for Christ's sake.

Must Watch: 2014 Red Bull Joyride - Official Recap Video
Andreu's interview in Dirt recently did kind of read like sour grapes. I mean if it's not your thing that's entirely OK, but the last thing the sport needs to get into is more of this 'That's not real mountain biking' bullshit. The whole FEST thing for example is producing some quality riding and awesome vision but I kind of cringe when they rattle on with that 'Just a bunch of friends riding like it's supposed to be...' Bro crap. Particularly when all of those events are sponsored up the wazoo. Which is NOT a comment on sponsorship (which makes a lot of this stuff possible) just spare me the elitist 'everyman keeping it real' speech.

Pinkbike Poll: Fatbike Racing is Inevitable
Race to get over the line first or race to be the first one to land that backflip....I can see his point.
