Is it a local team or do we have to put up with this all season? I don't get the impression that the person at the production desk choosing the images we got to see at home was selected for their expertise and experience in live sports broadcasting.

@spicysparkes: let's not get too carried away. It was ok, but there were gaps and we still only get to see the whole track on riders YouTube channels. Drone footage is still meh when there are trees involved.

@opignonlibre: yep. Eric Barone has been pushing this for years. Unfortunately the UCI didn't approach him to organise the world champs considering his experience, although he's been quite vocal about his relief not to be involved with this particular race.
