Last years Adidas Five Ten Terrex Mids are much better then this years redesign. I got the new model, the one your testing, and after 2 rides returned them for last years model which is still for sale. The main differences being the neoprene sleeve on the new model has an annoying strap and they removed the 3DO ankle protection so the side of the shoe is cut lower.
