2 daysRitchey Breakaway Cyclocross Bike size 52
$1400 USDGreat condition! I bought this for SO and it was too large for her 5'4" It's best suited for someone 5'6" - 5'9" I'd guess. We replaced with a smaller size so this one is offered here.
I have the same bike myself in a size XL and love these bikes for their unmatched versatility.
Specs:
Size 52 Frame
SRAM Rival 11s drivetrain with Mavic Aksium wheels and Ritchey bars, stem, seatpost and saddle.
There's plenty of steerer tube left to get the bars even higher if that's what you'd like.
I used to travel to San Francisco and would take a travel bike. I've owned the Ritchey Breakaway Road, Breakaway Carbon Road, Breakaway Carbon Outback and also a Breakaway Cross. Of these, the Cross is my favorite frameset for a variety of reasons:
1-No disc wheels. Disc rotors on the wheels make it very difficult to nest the wheels inside the case. Realistically, it's necessary and time consuming to remove the discs, otherwise you run the (likely) risk they'll get bent. The BA Cross uses wheels with no discs so they fit more snugly and securely in the case.
2-Compared to the road models, the cross frames permit larger tire sizes for more versatile use, even off road. I've put 38s on these with ease.
3-With a canti brake hanger on the fork, it's easier to remove bars while leaving the brakes on the bike. No removal of brake is necessary, unlike the other models and other travel bikes.
4-The geometry isn't a strict cross geometry, rather a versatile geometry that's sufficient for a number of uses.
5-Rack/fender braze-ons if that's needed. Planning a tour? This one can accept racks!
6-This bike is surprisingly lightweight!
Geometry:
Size 52
Top tube: 53cm
Chainstay length: 42.5cm
Headtube length: 100mm
BB Drop: 6.5cm
Wheelbase: 99.9cm
Rake: 45mm
Of all the travel bikes I've tried, the Ritchey BA Cross has been the most versatile and easiest to use. In my view, it's the perfect n=1 bike if you are planning any cycling adventures
Comes with the travel case too!

Apr 15, 2024MOOTS VaMoots Road Disc RSL 60cm Enve Fork Titanium!
$2499 USDThe MOOTS VaMoots Disc RSL is a state of the art disc, titanium road bike. Retail was about $5500 and you can get it here for a fraction of that price, PLUS it comes with a King headset and BB. I really liked this bike but learned that after all these years, my long torso prefers a TT that exceeds 59cm and a reach closer to 41cm. So, in the name of better fit, I'm parting with this jewel.

Apr 15, 2024NEW Ritchey Breakaway Cross Size XL with CASE!
$1350 USDCustom painted for less than brand new!
This is a brand new, custom painted, size XL Ritchey Breakaway frameset with the option to buy extra matching parts. THE TRAVEL CASE IS INCLUDED with the frameset.
The Frameset:
I'm a huge fan of these Ritchey breakaway cross bikes/frames. I used to travel to San Francisco and would take a travel bike. I've owned the Ritchey Breakaway Road, Breakaway Carbon Road, Breakaway Carbon Outback and also a Breakaway Cross. Of these, the Cross is my favorite frameset for a variety of reasons. I decided to buy a BA Cross, have it stripped, then Rick Stefani at D&D Cycles did the repainting in traditional Ritchey Red/Black colors. Rick is the guy who does the custom painting for Ritchey, Rivendell and some others, Here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m1PToF_mkSY
There's several reasons why I prefer the BA Cross frame for travel and all around use. I'll list them here:
1-No disc wheels. Disc rotors on the wheels make it very difficult to nest the wheels inside the case. Realistically, it's necessary and time consuming to remove the discs, otherwise you run the (likely) risk they'll get bent. The BA Cross uses wheels with no discs so they fit more snugly and securely in the case.
2-Compared to the road models, the cross frames permit larger tire sizes for more versatile use, even off road. I've put 38s on another Breakaway Cross.
3-With a canti brake hanger on the fork, it's easier to remove bars while leaving the brakes on the bike. No removal of brake is necessary, unlike the road.
4-The geometry isn't a strict cross geometry, rather a versatile geometry that's sufficient for a number of uses.
5-Rack/fender braze-ons if that's needed.
Geometry:
Size XL
Stack: 59.1cm
Reach: 39.9cm
Top tube: 58cm
Seat Angle: 73d
Head Angle: 73d
Chainstay length: 42.5cm
BB Drop: 6.5cm
Wheelbase: 102.7cm
Rake: 45mm
OPTIONAL extras available to the buyer:
Ritchey WCS Wet Red matching 27.2 seat post $70
Ritchey WCS Wet Red matching 44cm handlebars $70
Ritchey WCS Wet Red matchkng stem, 120mm (I might have a 110mm) $70
Ritchey WCS carbon cross fork (Used. Great shape). $175
I've included some pics of these items installed for appearances, but they ARE NOT included unless the buyer decides to buy them too.
Only if the buyer passes on these will they be made available to others.
Of all the travel bikes I've tried, the Ritchey BA Cross has been the most versatile and easiest to use.

Mar 27, 202461c Ibis Hakka MX Frameset w/ ENVE Fork, BB & HS
$399 USDThis is a 61cm Ibis Hakka MX that sustained damage to the top tube from a hard handlebar impact. I am not the original owner. I bought it in its current form to turn into a utilitarian, all-purpose commuter, but those plans never materialized. The carbon repair isn't elegant, but it's VERY sturdy-far sturdier than the original.
I live in Indianapolis which is home to SRAM, Zipp and countless IndyCar racing teams. As a result, it's easy to find carbon fiber experts who can do repairs. This top tube was repaired by a guy on an Indycar team, with a robust layering of carbon fiber to prevent future damage. I have ZERO concerns about its integrity. It's more robust than new. Cosmetically though, it's obviously repaired.
The ENVE fork is perfect and has LOTS of steerer tube left. The Praxis T47 bottom bracket is perfect. The Cane Creek headset is perfect. You're basically buying these parts and getting the frame for free.
I tried to take LOTS of photos so there'd be no questions or surprises, but if you have any, please ask. Buyer pays shipping.
NOTE: I've got another BRAND NEW 61cm Hakka MX frame in the black coal colorway that I'll be listing soon. That'll be $1000 firm. These are fantastic gravel bikes, but I've got too many and need to sell the ones that aren't ridden. (Also coming is a 58cm Cervelo Aspero).
